is it normal for the red battery light to go off while charging? the light comes off when I connect the charger but then it disappears shortly after

I didn't monitor the progress, but when I turn it on to charge, the red light lights up and I don't monitor it any further, and how long I find the green light - it's already charged. But I just noticed that you need to hit that magnetic head very accurately. Because it doesn't always start to glow red - there is no contact for charging.
