Moleskine The Hobbit Limited Edition Notebook, Large, Ruled, Burgundy, Hard Cover (5 x 8.25)

Fantastic! I love moleskines and will definitely be using mine. Great quality and I absolutely love the pocket in the back, it's a great place to store notes, lists, reminders, or other things! Super cool.

This is what it described as, a Moleskin Hobbit style notebook. It was what I expected it to be but the only reason why I gave it a on 4/5 is because I like to use both sides of the paper but with this being more of a hardcover moleskin it is sometimes a pain to write on the back due to the spine of the journal.

My wife rolled her eyes when I showed her this. That's when I knew it was perfect. Nicely made Moleskine, great addition for the LOTR and Hobbit fans out there. Very attractive, includes a sweet map too. I don't regret this one, one bit.

Given as a gift. Recipient likes it. College ruled. Sturdy cover. Hidden pocket in back. Two book markers. Very nice.

Tolkien fans only. Terse and concise. It makes the journal more enjoyable if you read the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. There is a great book on the website that is about The Lord of The Rings and Philosophy that talks about being humble like a Hobbit. I also recommend the Hobbit Devotional.

Love this moleskine notebook. High quality paper and great looking gift. The design on the cover is very well made. Great for anyone who loves the Hobbit!

The notepad is beautiful and the paper is smooth to the touch... but is NOT for fountain pen users.I wrote only one phrase and to my horrified eyes I saw how the ink bled and created a ghosting that made the paper look as if it were a napkin.As Cecilia Maldonado said in her review, " it's just not for fountain pens"

Nothing too special - it's just a notebook with a ribbon and back pocket for some cards. Fun item to have.

Honestly, it is just a Hobbit themed Moleskine journal. Quality is there, the infamous pouch, outside strap, book marker, and subtle features are all there. For people unfamiliar with MOLESKINE stuff, do not expect to get bombarded with Hobbit stuff in the journal - as it is really just a themed cover/liner pages with paper.So why buy a moleskine in the first place you may ask? What does the $18 warrant? That's really up to you decide. But for me, it is the "completeness" and durability of the notebook along with the hobbit theme...plus it retails for $28 at your local Canadian bookstore - so why not pick one up as a journal? "Legendary" notebooks may be a slight over-statement, but they are awfully nice notebooks. In an age of computers, PDFS, tablets, and email - it is nice to go back to writing - something simplistic about the written art and combination of paper+ink makes putting down thoughts that much more enjoyable.

What can I say usual quality of a Moleskine, which of course is excellent, then you have this lovely cover from the Hobbit in a beautiful brown colour. Its so nice I am afraid to fill it with my rubbish and spoil it!!!!!

Als Tolkien Fan musste ich dieses Moleskine einfach haben. Qualitativ sehr hochwertig, wie man es eben von Moleskine gewohnt ist! Innen liebevoll mit Verzierungen aus Der Hobbit versehen, traue ich mich kaum, die Seiten zu beschreiben. Als Fan hat sich der Kauf für mich auf jeden Fall gelohnt!

Magnifique carnet Moleskine d'une très haute qualité, les gravures sur le carnet sont splendides. La carte géographique présente dans le film The Hobbit est splendide en grand format. Fan de la saga, acheté le sans hésiter !
