Yes, the bands are 7 inches in circumference. If you press one flat, it is 3 1/2 inches "doubled up".

Q: Are these made in the USA?

From their website: "94% of our sales are of American-made products that comply with the standards “Buy American” set-aside in conjunction with U.S. government purchases." Hot Springs, Arkansas is the location of their manufacturing facility and the address listed on the box, but nowhere on the box does it say that the rubber bands are made in the U.S.A. It just says that they are a proud American company, woman-owned. At the rate that these things break on me, I either doubt that they are made in the U.S.A. (the other 6%) or think that their revolutionary manufacturing process is not very good when it comes to rubber bands.
