RECONYX outdoor HyperFire 2 Covert IR Camera,720p, OD Green, HF2X

This is my third Reconyx I've owned. The Hyperfire 2 works great like the others I own. I have found them to be the best in long term functioning. With some trail cams the battery power will sometimes outlast the camera! My first Reconyx is still going strong after 5 years.Image quality is very good, as is the battery life using lithium AAs. The interface works well and you easily configure the camera to your liking. The Hyperfire 2 now features auto Daylight Savings Time, so you don't have manually configure it.Do yourself a favor. When you first setup your camera do the following: Press the left arrow to Change Setup. Press arrow down till it says, 3 PICS. Press down arrow twice till you see # OF PICS. Press left arrow again till 1 appears. This way you can avoid too many pictures of the same thing avoiding filling up your SD card or affecting battery life.One of the more expensive trail cams available but works the best in my experience.

I sent in a very used, old camera (HC500) and Reconyx repaired the camera for $35. Very happy with the service commitment and also scored a Reconyx hat! I own five of these (or similar - newer models) cameras and all perform flawlessly.

Awesome day pictures night pictures not so much. I was a little disappointed with the night pictures as I use it as a game camera.

This is a very good camera. Day and night pictures are very good, equal to all the other cameras out in the marketplace. I purchase about 10 cameras a year and this is the best quality camera I have used so far. The only negative is the price - its steep compared to many of the others.

This is really old tech that is clunky and annoying to use. Im annoyed at myself for not doing more research on it. Not worth the price at all.

Outstanding camera. Fast trigger speed. Takes a lot of photos of game, with no empty pictures. Battery life is unbelievable. I have 2 reconyx cameras and they are far better than any other game camera I’ve ever owned!

Cost is high. Pictures & videos r really good.2nd to none.

It needs better than 10 seconds video and audio. Should be 35 seconds or more. (( at least. ))
