Nice compact and ultimate performance.

Only issue is it doe snot have a display. You will need to necessarily connect to TV. Else it is wonderful value for money buy and best in its quality and segment.

I bought this player intending to use it as a DVD/CD player, plus to play from portable hard-drives or pendrives. And, I bought it mostly trusting the "Sony" brand, hoping it would be good. It plays fine. Six disk memory is nice to have expecially when you play audio and video on the same player. But, that is the only good thing about the device. What's Bad: 1. No 3.5mm headphone jack (port). 2. One set of AV ports. So, if you intend to mirror the output across two displays, you need a splitter. 3.Volume cant be controlled. If you are connecting it to a tv, yo have to use the TV controls. If you connect it to a sound system, you have to use the volume knob on the speakers. 4.If you want to play audio discs, and enjoy sound, this player connects directly to your tv, where the speakers are not quite good. To connect to a sound system, you have to fork the red & white cables to a connector, and connect that to the speaker system. 5. Playback from USB devices is very restricted. Maybe some 2gb pendrives work. Most mp3 players should do fine. But, if you have a 2TB drive full of movies or songs, you cant play that through this player. 6.I tried making a mp3 cd of the songs I like on my hrd drive, and it did not play on the player. This, coming from Sony isn't good. Look else where. I hear the blu-ray players from Sony have better performance. Or else, go for a PlayStation.

Good product for cost, Sony developed a value added product at lower price. only issue is it doesn't have a display.

Ein günstiges Gerät vom Markenhersteller. Klein und kompakt. Kabel recht kurz, aber mal ehrlich, entweder hat man am Standort genügend Steckdosen oder hat eine Mehrfach-Steckdosenleiste. Ich finde es eher positiv, kein Kabelsalat. Kein HDMI Kabel dabei, ist auch in Ordnung, wir sind in der Preisklasse um 40€! Sowas hat man doch eh in der Sammelkiste rumliegen. An meinem 11 Jahre alten TV von LG mit 3 HDMI Anschlüssen hatte ich jedoch Probleme, den DVD Player in Betrieb zu nehmen, ich dachte schon er sei defekt. Kurz mal ein blauer Hintergrund und Sony Schriftzug, dann vom TV ich soll den Anschluss prüfen. An HDMI 2 gesteckt, das gleiche Spiel. Dann ins Wohnzimmer, ausprobiert - funktioniert. Schnellsetup öffnen, einrichten. Wieder ins Schlafzimmer, geht wieder nicht. Ich schon gedanklich bei der Rücksendung und dann erinnerte ich mich an verschiedene HDMI Standards. Der alte TV im Schlafzimmer hatte noch einen 3. HDMI mit dem Zusatz MHL, den versucht und es läuft. Keine Ahnung, was wie wo. Zwischenzeitlich auch mit den CHINCH weiß/rot/gelb angeschlossen, das lief auch nicht. Mit HDMI MHL läuft es, hoffe es bleibt so. Ich finde die einfachen Menüs gut. Ich brauche den ganzen schnickschnack nicht. Fernbedienung funktioniert tadellos. Würde es wieder kaufen. Also nicht vorschnell zurücksenden, probiert ALLE HDMI Anschlüsse am TV aus! Wahrscheinlich insbesondere bei älteren TV Geräten.
