PetSafe Two Point Control Dog Leash, 3/4 in

We’ve been using the gentle leader from PetSafe for years for our pup, but now she’s an older dog and it gets too hot for her in the summer, we switched to harness instead. However despite her age she still is a very energetic doggie and just one leash off the hardness is not enough for me to control her, and she can pull me to the ground very easily when she gets overly stimulated by other dogs. And I’ve searched and searched for a dual headed lead that would allow me to control both her collar and harness, and finally found it with this product! Like all their products, it is very well made! All the hooks and attach rings are done very securely, and I especially love the extra padding by the hand loop, it’s super soft almost plush feeling and keeps my hand/wrist from hurting when my dog does pull now. The design of the sling between the two attached leads is genius! It allows the dog to explore but not be stuck because the hand loop moves with the sling on the entire rope, and it’s just so easy to control and not be stuck at any point. Being able to use this rope to hook both my dog’s collar of harness has made our walk a breeze! The easy control makes my dog less likely to pull and when she does pull it is easily controlled. I highly recommend this rope and all of PetSafe’s products!

Best thing I ever bought for my dog. My large dog was a puller; after this lease the pulling is still there but much more bearable. I feel in control during walks now.

This is working ok but I think the rope needs to be thicker for bigger dogs.

Love this leash. I was using two leashes with a head collar and a martingale but I just got a polypet harness with a front and back clip and switched to this leash. It's the right length for walking her on the sidewalks - not too long not too short and it doesn't get tangled the way the two single leashes would. The handle part has a swiveling joint that lets them sort themselves out if she circles around and it also helps them even out as she moves so I don't have to constantly adjust like I would with my other system. The handle is also nice to put your hand through to get a better grip and feel more secure. Our old shepherd managed to pull a leash out of my hand and go on a three hour escape so I never use leashes I can't thread my wrist through. My old leashes were also around 5' each and I had to keep them wrapped around my hands a few times to keep her at the length I wanted but when the double leash is used it's around 3' which is perfect. She did chew on the new leash a little so it frayed a bit on the edge, but it's not enough for me to worry about. Just don't leave it where a heavy duty chewer can get it unattended (she pulled her last harness off the coat hook when I was at work and ate it so now that I learned my lesson I will be keeping this leash and her new harness away in the closet).

I love these. The rest of the family isn't impressed but I think that they are great. The two point.connecton actually lsrts me steer my husky mix and she has learned to be much more polite when we're walking

Top quality easy to use double connection leash with a very comfortable handle, excellent quality connectors and reflective nylon. When walking with my dog, I connect one hook and the leash is nice and long so he can examine underneath the bushes and the trees. Then when I want the leash to be shorter I just connect the second hook. I love it.

Worked the first 2 walks then right back to pulling my arm off. Leashes and collars will never replace actual training. My dude pulls and needs consistent training to fix it. This wasn’t the miracle I was hoping for.

Perfect value for me. I own nine leashes, all in good condition, but this is the only one that solved a specific problem I’ve had since adopting a French bulldog four months ago. He is affectionate and playful with the family, but during our daily walks he becomes uncontrollable when he sees another dog. He goes into a highly reactive, protective mode that I’ve been unable to manage with other equipment. I’ve tried numerous solutions: vibrating collars, face coverings to interrupt his fixation, pinch collars, and using the front attachment on a two-point harness. None of them reliably stopped his aggressive reactions—except this leash. I’ve owned dogs all my life and never faced this issue until adopting this 29-lb French bulldog from a rescue. He had previously been labeled “not suitable” at a shelter and was only saved from euthanasia by a last-minute rescue. When this leash is properly attached to both the back and chest rings of his two-point harness, it gives me smooth, immediate control. I can guide and redirect him calmly and continue our walk without triggering his attack mode. The length and design are ideal for one-handed control, which matters to me at age 76 with shoulder issues. I’ve now ordered a second leash for my 30-lb, 4-year-old terrier mix, who sometimes pulls or reacts when the Frenchie does. I plan to walk both dogs using this leash. I’ve already recommended it to friends.

Great leash. My go-to for most walks. It's a bit heavy, but heavy duty kind of heavy, so not uncomfortable. The handle is very comfortable. The reflective stitches work really well for night walks. Converts easily between 4ft and 8ft. I use this on vests, so chest and back buckles, and to collar, so single buckle to Martingale collar. Would not be a good leash for training as the buckles and handle are heavy and make noise being dragged along that may startle a dog who is trying to figure things out - for that your simplest possible 6 ft leash is better. Very happy with this. Probably better for medium or large dogs given the weight of it.
