Cygnet SERIOUSLY CHUNKY Knitting Acrylic Yarn / Wool 100g - 1206 Bright Red

Amazing soft wool. I bought this wool from someone else at first but needed more wool for my project , so got online and got some more from these lovely people and I would DEFINITELY buy from these again. The wool seems softer and all around better quality. And as for my project, I made a gift of a scarf for my friend which she absolutely loved and said it was soft and warm.

Firstly, when the yarn arrived my husband was completely baffled as he handed me the postage bag. On opening it I will admit I had to take a picture of it. Fantastic idea sending it vac packed.My children were fascinated watching it as it returned to its usual size.I bought it for making toys on a large gauge circular loom and the thickness of this yarn was absolutely perfect for loom knitting. Soft enough to work with but tough enough to be handled with a metal hook. The shade of red is lovely, and would be perfect for Christmas crafting.I can't comment on how it washes as I haven't needed to do that yet, but I would certainly buy this yarn again from this seller.

This is a lovely super chunky yarn.I looked through a few brands trying to find a set of fairly bright colours for a rainbow pattern and these fit the bill well. Most super chunky yarns I found were of muted and limited pale colours. These Cygnet ones worked well and were a very good price as well.At 100g, the yarn does go fairly quick on larger projects as it is SO chunky, so make sure you work out how much you need and order enough skeins!I used this with a 10mm crochet hook for the rainbow cushion pattern I was doing.

Nothing to dislike perfect for knitting a blanket. Soft and easy to handle. Mk

Excellent quality

Bought two sets of these wool to knit a small jumper and I was shocked when it arrived it is rough and not soft at all and it is highly stiff and practically unusable
