No strings are meant to last forever.
Only used it to replace snapped strings. I rarely change all strings once one breaks. The woven Low A string is never going to last forever. But it holds a tune very well.I put the extra strings in the case for WHEN they snap.

One of the few options for a 6-string uke, for better or worse. It DOES have all six strings.
I play a Lanikai LU-6 six-string tenor ukulele. Not surprisingly, there aren't many string options out there for 6-string ukuleles, unless you look up suggested gauges and order strings individually, or try finding an acoustic guitar string set that might work (though I've been advised not to do the latter). So I bought this as a string replacement.I see some reviewers saying that the sets they got included only four strings and not six. I received a sealed D'Addario set just like the one in the main photo, "6-string tenor ukulele Nyltech" (EJ88T-6). It contained all six strings. It LOOKED like only four at first glance, until I realized that the strings that go together on the uke itself were paired together. So there were four coils of strings: two "A" strings coiled together, a single "E" string, two "C" strings coiled together, and finally a "G" string. Each of these four groups of strings have a piece of removable colored tape at the end, to let you know which is which. I'm guessing this was easier than putting each string in a separate marked bag, as is often the case with strings. All of the information you need is then on the back of the package: the string number, string note, string gauge, and which color tape is on the end of that string. So figuring out which string goes where was easy enough. When I tried putting on the strings, my high "C" string kept breaking. I'd try tuning it to pitch, and it kept breaking near the bridge end. Fortunately I had enough leftover length in the string to retie it and try again, and again, and again. I finally got it to work before completely running out of string. I don't know if the breaking though was due to it not being a good gauge, the string being a dud, or a problem on my own end (flaw on my uke, or how I was stringing them. etc.).As I mentioned, there aren't a lot of buying options out there for 6-string ukulele strings, given how uncommon the instrument is. I think the only other pre-packaged set I've seen is from the GHS company, namely their "HL-6" set as they call it (.031, .025, .032, .036, .022, .028; compare to the D'Addario at .026 .024, .030, .036, .018, .026). I can't say I've developed a preference at this point.

No stops attached to strings. Compression only.
Would have been nice to know there were no stops at the bridge end of the strings. Useless to me. Made for compression pin setup.

Something has changed
Put these strings on my wife's six-string uke, and they never worked out. Don't know why but good ukulele strings are not a slam dunk, especially six string.
