The easy-pour container supports quick, mess-free application, helping maintain a fresher home environment between full litter changes. ## Description Product Description Fresh Step cat litter crystals are made to support odor control in everyday litter box use. The crystal deodorizer format helps absorb and neutralize common smells, supporting a fresher home environment where litter boxes are used regularly by cats. Designed to work alongside regular cat litter, these deodorizing crystals can be sprinkled directly into the litter box as part of normal care routines. The dry crystal format stays in place, helping manage odors between full litter changes without replacing existing litter. Fresh Step litter deodorizer crystals fit easily into daily scooping and cleaning habits. With a light fresh scent and simple application, they offer a practical option for cat owners looking to support cleaner smelling litter box areas in shared living spaces in apartments and homes. brand_description Fresh Step ## Features - CONTROLS AND CONCEALS ODORS: The package says these crystals control, conceal and neutralize odors, dissolving over time. Scent-boosting crystals mix in with your litter and release a light fragrance each time your cat uses the litter box. - FRESH SCENT, LIGHT FRAGRANCE: Crystals release a light fragrance every time your cat uses the litter box. This 15 oz bottle is Fresh Scent; other crystal scents in the line include Sweet Blossom and Summer Breeze. - EASY SPRINKLE DIRECTIONS: Fill the cap with crystals and sprinkle evenly over the litter. Use more for larger boxes and less for smaller boxes, then replace the cap tightly after use. Blue crystals pour from the bottle with a cap. - LITTER ADDITIVE, NOT A LITTER: These Litter Box Deodorizing Crystals are blue crystals in a bottle with a cap, sprinkled over your regular litter. Use them with the litter you already buy for a litter box deodorizer that works alongside it. - PET FRIENDLY, NON-TOXIC: The package states these crystals are pet friendly and completely non-toxic for your cat's litter box. They disintegrate over time leaving no residue behind, so no residue remains once they break down. - WATER-SOLUBLE CRYSTALS: Crystals are water-soluble and break down over time in the box. Use them every time you scoop for a refreshing scent that fits your routine; a bottle holds 15 oz (425 g) of blue crystals. - 15 OZ BOTTLE, SAME FORMULA: Fresh Step Litter Box Deodorizing Crystals come in a 15 oz (425 g) bottle with a blue cap. Same formula, new look: crystals control odors in the litter box. Use them with every scoop for a fresh scent boost. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B07F2JVW84 | | Best Sellers Rank | #1 in Cat Odor Removers | | Date First Available | June 26, 2018 | | Item Model Number | FF8990 | | Manufacturer | Fetch for Pets | | Product Dimensions | 3 x 3 x 7 inches; 1 pounds | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Fresh Step - **Color:** Fresh Scent - **Item Form:** Crystals - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 3 x 3 x 7 inches - **Scent:** Fresh Scent ## Images ![Fresh Step - Cat Litter Deodorizer, Litter Box Crystals, Fresh Scent, 15 oz - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71KVnt5scEL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Scent** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the ingredients?** A: Description says: "Ingredients: Timothy, Alfalfa Flower, Alfalfa Meal, Soya Oil with mixed tocopherols and Rosemary extract, Yucca Schidigera Plant Extract" FWIW, "timothy" is a type of grass. All of these ingredients are considered non-toxic and cat-safe (assuming your cats aren't allergic, of course). **Q: Are the crystals the same size as the litter? Does it fall through the scoop to last?** A: Dear Amazon Customer, The crystals are similar in size to the litter; they are very small. Also yes, the crystals would fall through a scoop with holes in it. Thank you for your question! -Your friends at Fetch for Pets **Q: Is this 100% silica gel, with no additives?** A: No, it’s not made of silica. That would absorb liquid, these dissolve. It’s likely calcium chloride with a baking soda type additive and fragrance **Q: Does this work with crystal cat litter? The arm + hammer deodorizer does not work with crystal litter.** A: I only use scoopable litter. When I scoop the box I have never seen the remnants of the orange crystals, so I assume they dissolve. I do know that since I first switched from powders to the Fresh Step Cat Litter Crystals, it completely eliminated odors--both liquid and solid. (My cat covers both.) Should you decide to go back to using scoopable litter, I find that Tidy Cat lightweight Scoopable litter seems to work the best when paired with Fresh Step Cat Litter Crystals. I hope this helps.
