Cool vest!
Saved my life in Florida, lol. The motor gets a little hot after several hours of cooling, but the vest really keeps you cool in hot weather!

Good product for a basic entry level cooling vest.
Well made andstill going in 2nd year of use. So working outside, in Texas, during the summer, at 95°-102°f is horrible and uncomfortable. Was willing to try almost anything to cool my core down while trimming trees. This product does work, and will give some relief from the heat while still allowing some production with less downtime. Only 4 stars as the cooling time is considerably less than claimed, actually getting only about 1.5 hrs of cooling time before ice and water have to be changed and refilled. However the battery has good run time at 4-5 hours. Also the water pump tends to suck air every time one must bend over at the waist to pick anything up from off the ground. That said, it does a pretty good job of cooling your core down rapidly during those times when heat exhaustion is a real possibility. For a moderately priced, entry level cooling vest it actually works better than expected, and is pretty well made and durable for the cost. The zipper hasn't broken yet however it feels and looks fragile and could definitely benefit from an upgrade. At 6'1" and 225lbs. The XL is a little snug and constricting. While use in Texas or Arizona is an example of results in EXTREME conditions, I can see it working very well and a location that doesn't get quite as hot. Overall not bad for the price point

Faulty, phone support was insanely unhelpful
So I wanted this to work. It’s a neat idea when you’re boiling alive in the summer. Unfortunately the water doesn’t seem to reach the front of the vest. Circulates at times but then the pump makes weird noises and stops.I called their support phone number to ask about the pump and how to drain the lines. As the instruction say “hang it upside down”. Well that leaves water inside the lines… so how do we purge them for storage? Their “cooling specialist” on the phone could not answer that question. She said “read the instructions”. I told her I did and they didn’t help, she said “I’ll email you a copy of the instructions is there anything else I can help you with?”Still won’t answer my question. Then she hung up on me. I was in no way rude about it, just asking for some help with their product. I called back and the phone goes to voicemailSo clearly whoever sells this has no interest at all in fixing their product or answering basic questions.Like why do the instructions talk about different power level settings? I see nowhere to adjust that. But they won’t answer that either. For $200 you think you’d be getting something that A. Works, and B, has a company behind it that cares even a little.I was even going to try a diffent style of vest from them but it’s really clear that buying from a different company than Alpha Cool is the smarter choice.

Works very well
I'll use this when mowing the grass or something when I'm outside for a while. I love it. I'll add cold water and the ice pack and the cooling effect last for quite a while. The cold mixed with the heat outside will still have you wet but it really helps with being comfortable and it's not too bulky, I've even worn it doing attic work.

Good but heavyy
Really cool for summertime work! However it's really heavy man when you get like right amount of water in it. I had to get to the point I had less than a bottle in it cause they make us run up and down solar arrays and it gets heavy man.
