Tonner Amazon Exclusive 17" "Twilight Edward Cullen Doll

Robert Tonner and his company has launched an entire line of the Twilight dolls. I am so glad he has offered, through Amazon.com, a great price-point to introduce those not familiar with this well known doll company, a chance to own not a doll, as much as a collectible. Buying Edward and Bella on Amazon will no doubt let those unfamiliar with the quality of these dolls, to put their toe in the water, and see the other characters from the series, like James, Victoria, Laurent, and soon, Jacob. And that's just Twilight!!! Tonner has so many more lines to inspire play, fun, and collecting.These really are more for display than for "play", ala Barbie, but what a wonderful piece of art to have on display in anyone's room!!! Here's hoping for more from the Tonner company on Amazon!!!!

I have the Edward/Bella combo. Bella is beautiful, with very detailed hair and clothes. Edward's face and hair are also well detailed. However, his clothes are less detailed; more like a Ken doll rather than Tonner's usual level of excellence. Moreover, his shoes are molded plastic and have already started getting sticky and have damaged the display disk. Tonner dolls usually have leather shoes with laces. I'm not sure why Tonner opted for Mattel style shoes, but it detracts from the overall appearance and quality of Edward.

This is a very well made Tonner doll, but it is different than the jean clad version. This Edward is very good looking but not as pale as the other one and his jaw line is not as sharp. Painted Eyes are a little larger and the hair line is not as angular. The lips a bit fuller and there is a slight sheen to the face. He is handsome but not as "Vampire Looking" as the other Edward. Just my observation, but I love them both! You won't be disappointed.

This is a gorgeous Tonner doll. He is one of the most handsome face molds that Tonner makes and a very good likeness of the movie character. For those who collect these dolls, you'll understand that this is a steal of a price for a doll with exceptional quality. Mine arrived in perfect condition and I am now eagerly awaiting the Bella doll. For any fan of the Twilight series, and even for someone just looking for a really handsome date for their Tyler doll, this guy is your man.

This is a very finely crafted display doll. I would recommend this as a doll collector to another collector and NOT as a toy. Please note if you are interested in this doll it's not a Barbie it is way bigger at 17" in height and is truly meant for display but can be used for light play with older children. Over all great buy!!!!!

This edward doll is pretty much the same as the first one as far as the face. The clothes from prom are so detailed they're amazing. it's a great price for this item considering it should be $100 more. i love it and amazon ships so fast.

This a very sturdy well made doll, The clothes are authentic to the movie. However, the doll looks nothing like Edward Cullen. He makes a great friend for Ellowyne Wilde.
