Alltrade648591 One-Man Brake Bleeder-Master

The idea behind this bleeder bottle is very sound. If you have used a power bleeder such as the one by Motive, it makes it very easy for you to bleed brake lines by yourself. This bottle worked fairly well for the clutch bleed on a manual transmission car, but only after forcing the hose on the bleed nozzle and spraying fluid in my engine compartment. This bottle is extremely small (perhaps I'm not familiar with how large a bleeder bottle should be) and it requires you to empty the bottle for each caliper. The nozzles and hoses that come with the bottle are pretty much useless for a VW Jetta. The bleeder nozzles are too large to fit these small hoses on them. When I went to pump up the Motive, it made the hose pop off the nozzle and spray brake fluid all over my driveway. I ended up finishing the job with a different piece of tubing and the empty brake fluid can. I guess the old saying holds true, "You get what you pay for."

Not well made, tubing too small, magnet not strong. Basically this device was not at all useful. Had to use larger tubing I had in the garage. The bottle was too small to be useful. Sorry to say I do not reccomend this product.

The accompanying attachments are useless, and the included tubing is too thin and collapses easily.After several weeks of pondering and tinkering, I modified it with a clear vinyl 5/16"OD 3/16"ID tubing (so it can fit the 2000 civic nipple.) and silicone the other end to make it air tight. Then had to use a powerful magnet and glue it on to existing magnet - making it stronger. Had to change the internal tubing as well (use aquarium tubing). IT now works like it supposed to. Now works like a charm. After all the mods I did I raised the rating to 4 stars, since the internal part of it works well otherwise. It really works like it says - when U modify it.

Don't waste your time with this. The concept is interesting but the quality of the product is just unacceptable. The hose diameter is too small and do not fit the bleeding screws (I tried to enlarge its size by heating the pipe but no result). If you can bleed your brakes without removing the wheels, the hoses are too short. The hose can't take any bend or it will close. Finally, the bottle itself is too small to properly bleed one clipper.

It does the job. Id say probably worth to buy a higher quality bottle with a larger reservoir that can sit flat on the ground without toppling over (or adding a hang line). But still serves it purposes. Tubing will come disconnected if you pump hard enough on the brakes (so may want to zip tie these down). Magnet could be stronger.

Size is to small , cheap product and the hoses dont fit the bleeder properly , the price should be cheaper for this product i could not even use it
