Great product and good value for money

Lovely stapler when it worked. Neat, easy to use, ergonomically comfortable. The best things were minimal effort required to staple, so good for those with weak hands, and the fact that staples were neatly folded with no sharp edges.Sadly, the stapler has only lasted 8 months, before a tiny piece of plastic that guides the staples when loaded gave up the ghost and snapped off. Its now unrepairable, and such a shame that for the sake of a tiny piece of cheap plastic an other wise great stapler is now consigned to the junk heap. The construction of the rest of the staple is excellent - if the manufacturer replaced just this one plastic part with a metal one they would have an unbeatable product.

Bought this to use straight away, ordered staples at the same time, have to wait two days to get staples? Pathetic, some could have been put in the empty chamber, be aware if buying, don’t expect to use at once.

Staples seem to slide through multiple sheets of paper with little effort. I’m now a convert to flat stapling, which is so much neater and lies or files flatter than standard bowed stapling.

Product itself is great, staples very smoothly and easily compared with non flat-clinched staplers and reduces the depth added from the staples. Personalisation tag on the underside is a nice touch for those sharing in an office. Loading mechanism was a bit confusing at first, but easy to figure out.Please note that although listed as 30 sheets (80 gsm paper) capacity, the box I received stated 25 sheets capacity - same product reference number (1064). Not really an issue for me, but may be significant for someone comparing product specs/claims.

I do a lot of stapling sheets together in multiples, and you end up with the corner with the staples higher than the rest of the stack when piled together.With this stapler the closing mechanism is different to the usual 'crumple' method; it folds the protruding ends horizontally, leaving a corner that is almost the same as the stack before stapling. The finished staple is much nicer to feel as well, in that it doesn't catch on your fingers like a standard 'crumple the ends over' stapler.

Good quality for money . Arrived on time.
