CandleScience - Oakmoss and Amber - Candle Scent 4 oz.- Infused with Natural Essential Oils Sage, Lavandin, Orange - High End Candle/Soap Fragrance

I love this scent! Earthy, woodsy, fresh and masculine. Much cheaper directly from manufacturer, however, they charge a boatload for shipping, so it evens out in the long run unless you're buying huge quantities. My husband loves it. We were sick and used it in our diffuser and it was great. Smells different in every application I've tried it in. Diffusing is almost piney, in soap is more cologne like and the Amber scent is more prominent, and in candles, it's a good mix of both.

I have ordered scents from CandleScience before with no problem. I was so excited to use this Oakmoss & Amber scent, as it sounded amazing from the reviews and description. At first glance, the candle scent is nice, but once you pour it out of that bottle, you'd be surprised how strong the scent really is. And I only used half of the 4oz bottle with my regular candle measurements. I could not make the smell leave my kitchen. It flooded my apartment, and so I cracked a few windows and drew the blinds so that I could get some fresh air in.... The scent was so strong that it attracted bees. We managed to get them out, but by the time the candles had solidified, I got so sick from the overpowering smell that had been haunting me for the past few hours. I spent the rest of the day battling the worst nausea. From my experience, I do not recommend this scent. The smell is not appealing, and just half a bottle left my apartment smelling like someone had walked into a room and unloaded several cans of Axe Cologne. I threw away the candles I had made, and am disappointed with the loss of money for the materials used.

When you first smell it and it’s concentrated form it smells like men’s cologne, but it does not smell that way once it’s in the candle… It’s very pleasant scent, that is not floral fruity or sweet.

This smells absolutely wonderful. It is a great candle scent and really great for mixing.

I typically order all my scents directly from their website because the soy wax is cheaper than Amazon when purchased a large batch. This is definitely one of our favorite scent for men. Reminds me a little bit like Gucci men cologne but not as strong
