My girlfriend is from India, and I'm in the US, and the connection or lag isn't as bad as I thought it might be. She will sometimes disconnect from it, but it reconnects quickly. The controls can be hard to get used to but work well. The camera is good as well, and the night vision works great. Although it would be nice if it were movable up or down. Setting up the app isn't hard, but you need both accounts to be in the same country. Wherever it is, it always finds its way back to the charger, which I found pretty impressive. My wife absolutely loves it and now uses it anytime she’s out of the house just to check in on the cat and interact with him. The two-way interaction is great. She can drive the robot around the house and play with the cat through it, which keeps him entertained and honestly makes being away from home a little easier. It’s become part toy, part security camera, and part pet companion. One of the features we really appreciate is the self-parking/auto-charging. When the battery gets low, it automatically returns to its dock. No hassle, no searching for it somewhere under the couch. The little personality touches are also great. When the robot bumps into something and says “Ouch!” it actually made us laugh the first time we heard it. Small detail, but it gives the device some charm. The camera quality is excellent as well. During the day the images are sharp and clear, and the night vision works surprisingly well, so we can still see what the cat is doing even in low light. Overall, this turned out to be a great find and a great buy.
