Try M Graham paints in your studio - you will not be unhappy
I have been building a complete palette of M Graham paints over this winter. I am nearly finished purchasing every single pigment color with a 1 Lightfastness rating. I am so thrilled there is an American-based company that is making paint that rivals that of ANY European company. The colors are vibrant, granulation is wonderful among those that contain graduating minerals. The number of transparent colors is significant in both staining and granulating categories. There are a HUGE number of single pigment colors as well as those single pigments with the highest lightfast ratings. (MG uses LF ratings of I (highest) & II. I don’t think they even sell anything less than a LF rating of II (ASTM).The paints FLOW playfully as any good watercolor should. Not that it’s possible to ever fully control watercolor paints but good control can be gained using less-wet on dry paper. The quality of poured and dried pigments is equal to fresh out of the tube. The ONLY thing anyone might perceive as a negative (I Dont) about M Graham paints is that they Dont work well as plaen air medium in HOT environments because of the honey used in processing. These WATERCOLOR paints never dry down to a solid mass and exposed to summer temps in a car, backpack, etc will liquify and can spill from a Pan palette. They remain tacky always.I consider this quality a bonus in terms of rewetting a poured pan or studio palette. You will never need to mist these paints to “prime” for use which makes them an excellent medium to use with water brushes.I do use these for outdoor painting, I just don’t use in high summer heat in the desert SW region I live in. If I used paint straight from tube it probably wouldn’t be an issue at all.Invest in a collection of 6 tubes warm/cool each in reds, blues and yellows and play with all the wonderful qualities M Graham paint has to offer. They mix beautifully into any color you could desire.

beautiful, granulating mid-blue- great intensity
This is a beautiful, granulating mid-blue. It doesn't do that crazy splitting colors thing in mixes that Daniel Smith's Cerulean does, but it has much more intense color saturation and mixes beautifully and is easy to use on its own. This is easily my favorite Cerulean out of all the watercolor brands I work with. Great color payoff.M Graham watercolors are just beautiful and bright... they are truly the best out there in every way. If I had to choose just one brand (I have Sennelier, Daniel Smith, QOR, and Mijello), it honestly would be M Graham. I have a limited palette of about 20 colors (which for me is limited) and it's a knockout- the color mixes are incredible.

GREAT TRANSPARENT WATERCOLOR~!
This is a great brand of watercolor and I recommend it to everyone. It tends to dry-out if left unused in the tube fore too long. I guess it's the HONEY that is said to be a part of the binder in the chemistry. Interesting colors, great texture and sedimentary washes! This is the paint I use for special wash passages that demand 'texture'...! It's GOOD!

Beautiful color!
Cerulean is my favorite blue in my paintings! The tube was well-wrapped and on time! And as always....the most realistic blue for skies!

The Best
Daniel Smith is my watercolor paint of choice. I love the variety the company offers (I have over 75 tubes)....I love the number of transparent pigments the company produces. I love the number of Interesting granulated Pigments available. And the price?.....better than WinsorNewton and several others.

This is my favorite cerulean blue
This is my favorite cerulean blue. Unlike some brands, they didn't skimp on the pigment (because cerulean is expensive). It's much easier to rewet (I fill my own whole pans) and produce a strong color, has a lovely texture and is quite saturated for a cerulean. Makes fantastic skies, greys, etc.It is less green and more saturated than other brands. If you want a darker and slightly greener color, M. Graham Cerulean Blue Deep is really great, too.

Great product.
For Watercolors, you can't go wrong with this product. M. Graham does not flake when it dries and is excellent to work with. I highly recommend this watercolor.
