Yes it was ready to go I loaded it right away. I had ordered this item before anticipating that all my print heads would have to replaced at the same time. It was past 90 days before I got an error message to replace and the previous print head had leaked and could not be used even after cleaning. So this time I waited until I had the error message...and everything went smooth. Don't order early because the return policy will not replace if not used in 90 days. Also this came through regular mail. It took several days longer than ups to receive. So if you have to wait you cannot work. It's a gotcha situation. I really wish this was a prime product.

Our old plotter had been printing with weird ink smears here and there, and changing ink cartridges didn't help. Finally thought to check the printheads, and replaced the one that was showing on the menu as problematic — plotter problems disappeared!

After years of supporting printers with these printheads, I generally haven't had many problems. It can definitely be difficult to figure out which printhead needs replacing, despite what the display says. Make sure to wipe the contacts clean on all printheads before replacing any. Replacing all at once may be a good strategy.

An HP DeskJet 110 printer would no longer print this color, despite repeated cleaning attempts. After this printhead was installed and calibrated, the printer began printing the color as designed.

Bought a set of remanufactured print heads. Only 3 out of the 4 actually functioned properly.

NEW PRINT HEAD...I've had this HP printer for 10-12 years now... It just keeps printing perfectly, and I'm thankful I can still buy print heads to fit it!

I have never had an issue using Hewlett Packard ink cartridges. Remanufactured ones have given me grief in the past and I will not use them.
