For both cacti and succulents - I'll be repotting a bowl of very squished succies from that Swedish place!Was put off by mixed reviews of other cacti soils especially those that claimed pests and plants in danger, so absolutely delighted to find this from a great and trusted seller I've bought from before.You get 2 transparent (and very light and handy) bags of 2L (when packed) potting soil already mixed with orchid bark, peat, perlite and grit, so you can just get on with things and don't need to mess about.My plant babies are going to LOVE this! I purchased this product in early April. 4 months on, I have 2 kalanchoes, a sanseveria and 3 string of pearls cuttings in this compost, and all seem happy. It is a very light mixture, so well aerated and free draining. Just make sure to keep a saucer underneath the pot whenever you water! My only complaints are I've used both bags already and the postage is almost the same price as the product. In my opinion it is still worth it if you don't fancy making up your own compost, but I do wish they stocked bigger bags.

Have used before , allows you to water and not worry about root rot as the compost drys quite fast . Enough time for the plant to take in water but not long enough to cause issues. A little on the expensive side if you have a lot to plant but it is good

Absolutely happy with these fab little bags of compost!!! I needed them for a couple of succulent plants I have...they were getting a bit need-new-pot ish..........Plants are now thriving happily in their new pots!!! Recommended, certainly!!! Thank you!!!

I bought a collection of differing bags from this company and they communicated with me brilliantly and in a timely fashion. They listened to my needs and then suggested the best options for me.The compost for both types was a really good mix. I am a notorious plant killer but my plants seem to be doing well.

I purchased this potting mix to re-pot some succulents that needed a bigger pot. A couple of months after re-potting, two plants got ill in similar ways ('rusting' and cracking of the foliage) that, after research, indicates a bacterial infection caused by , most likely, animal manure coming into contact with the potting mix and causing bacteria to be carried over. I cannot be certain but considering this happened after re-potting (and were healthy earlier), it is a likely cause.

I've previously used another cactus compost and had issues with drainage, I think I was packing the soil in too tightly. This mix is a lot coarser with larger pieces of bark etc so it always has very good drainage. I've been using it to grow some succulent cuttings and they're doing amazingly well. Will be buying again.

Product arrived fine. But need to be careful as the packaging is very fragile to tear. The compost mix started smelling like mould after a couple of days so i think the best option is to let it air dry out of the packaging once it arrives.
