Happy with my purchase
The colour looks like the photo. The yarn is as soft as you would expect any acrylic yarn to be. So far I'm not experiencing any splitting. I really love how much yarn you get in each skein.Update: after using three skeins, each skein had a lot of knots and tangles which made it very stressful to feed the yarn from the centre. I hope in future Red Heart finds a better way to wrap their yarn.

Yarn threads comes apart, so have to be very careful which using.
An afghan. Beautiful color, very soft, worth the price, not very easy to use. Threads will come apart.

Great for regular projects, not wonderful for baby projects.
I bought this for a baby blanket and although it is not as soft and is thicker than traditional yarn intended for baby blankets, it is a beautiful pink color and produced a beautiful blanket. I love the color so much I think I may try it again with a larger hook to give looser stitches to see if it gives better results.

Yarn is Soft as a Baby's behind!
I only crochet as I had forgotten to knit & crochet since my gram taught me as a kid. The only thing I have this to compare to is the chunkier yarn that I used to make some family members scarves as they are made up very quickly. This yarn was purchased to make a scarf for my 6 year old grandson. This will take some time as it is not chunky yarn but thinner. All I can say is that it is oh so very soft and I have not had any problems whatsoever crocheting with this product. Pricing was also very good and received this item very quickly.

Easy to work with and cleaning is easy. Nice and soft besides beautiful I used it to make blanket.

One of Red Hearts Better Yarns
Not really a huge fan of Red Heart yarns with the exception of their Boutique yarns and this....the Soft.It is quite soft in comparison to their cheaper "Super Saver" acrylics sold at the big box stores and the slight sheen is very nice. The color selections, though not enormous, are overall very nice shades
