Intuitoys Montessori Inspired All Natural Wooden Baby Rattle Variety Set of 3 Rattles (Handmade in USA)

Purchased about a week ago, and overall I'm really disappointed with the set. Only the rattle with the three rings seems to be an appropriate and safe toy. The knotted ball rope is not safe. My 3 month old can fit one end in his mouth and if it were to become undone (which would not take a ton of effort) he would easily choke. The bead ball does not look like the one pictured. It is not made of smooth balls but the same as the knotted rattle. There also doesn't seem to be any finish on the toys. I know it says it has a natural beeswax finish, but it seems rough and unfinished compared with another wooden toy we have finished in beeswax. I do like the rattle and bead ball is ok. Just overall disappointed in the product for what I paid for it. Especially since the knotted rope is completely unsafe to use.

I loved this set of toys when it first arrived. I bought them to have when a friend and her baby would be visiting from out of town. The problem came when we first handed the large bundle of wooden balls (connected by elastic) to her 8 month old, TWO of the balls came apart within 5 minutes! Considering the balls are under 1.5" in diameter, this is clearly a choking hazard! I was shocked that the wooden beads seemed to just fall off and we immediately had to take the toy away from the child. Which is unfortunate since I love the concept and the other toys seem well made. When I attempted to return this product, it was already past the acceptable time (as I purchased them in anticipation of the visit and stored them for awhile before they arrived). I guess that means I'll be keeping them... These toys are a great concept- just be very, very careful as the one I received presented a major choking hazard!!

I was very excited to receive these toys for my Littles, but I do have a concern about two of them. The bead balls with the elastic cord -- the elastic is a very thin, about 1/4 inch and not even sewn together, just tied together. A little mouthing by a baby and that will come apart and the balls then would be loose. The balls themselves are a good size and doubt would be a choking hazard. However, the balls on the single rope are smaller and could pose a choking hazard. The rope/balls rattle again, there is only a knot at each end, not sewn, etc. I easily pulled it apart and tried to make at least two knots on each end to make it safer but the rope was not long enough. The wood rattle with wood rings seems very nice and safe. Sadly, I will be returning the product.

These are some of my toddler's and infant's favorite toys, especially when out and about, so we bring fewer toys. I love how durable they are, my infant chews on these all the time and they show very little wear.

I love these wood toys and not having to worry about what chemicals my son is sucking on. They are great for learning to grasp and hold, as well as for teething.

This product was very disappointing. The clutching balls 'shed' wood filings where the holes have been drilled to connect the pieces. Those holes are also rough to the touch...basically they are unfinished...just drilled holes that haven't been sanded or smoothed at all. The rope teather is also unfinished on the ends so it frays and a baby can gnaw small pieces of material from it. The rattle Is the only well made and safe item in this collection. We have discarded the first two items and only allow our baby to use the rattle.

Our new babies loved these. Parents were impressed as well.
