These are 3 times more sturdy than even that other premium brand. The biggest plus though is the comparably massive hole in the bottom to help extract seedlings with minimal disturbance to the seedling. This may sound trivial but it's not. Most any pot can grow a seedling. Getting them out when the time is right to plant is another matter. For anyone (everyone?) who has mauled seedling trying to get them out of the seed pots....these are for YOU! Tip: Pack your seed starting mix slightly into the bottom inch or so of the pot to make a little dense plug at the bottom.
