Our Samsung dryer decided to quit heating up. I then did some research online. The YouTube videos I watched all pointed to a potential heating element having gone bad. After spending some time refamiliarizing myself with the standard processes in opening our dryer up (I repaired this about 2 years ago due to a roller issue), I then got started with my electric drill.Sure enough -- the coil in the heating element was broken!After reading some reviews, I then ordered this product.While I was waiting for my order to arrive, I took some time in cleaning up our dryer vent using another product which I previously ordered here on Amazon. There were a ton of lint that had built up which caused a strain on the heating element which consequently caused the coil to break.After replacing the broken heating element and putting back all the parts together, our dryer was fully operational again. Thanks for this amazing product!

Bought one 1 year and half ago went out easy peezy took me 30 minutes and bammmmmm works again would recommend 👌 easy fix for the hand man or chick.

I followed a you tube video showing me how to install this part and it works perfectly.

This product works fine, but after I installed it I initially was getting a heating error from my dryer and it was getting excessively hot.Turns out it was shorting out, the little coil that wraps around was touching the metal rectangular piece it sits on, which was forming a circuit with the dryer frame when installed.Check the coil before you install to make sure it’s not touching the metal rectangular base. You can also use a multimeter to check, just do a continuity test with one probe touching one of the metal terminals and the other probe touching the rectangular base. If continuity is detected then the coil is touching somewhere.To fix it I simply bent the coil slightly so it stopped touching the mount and now it’s working fine.

If you have the time the replacement is not difficult at all. $28 and about an hour is all it took.

I got this for my 42H5200EP/A3 dryer. While I can't ever recommend that you buy this dryer, if you have this model Samsung and your dryer stops drying because the heating element is bad, this will get it up amd running again. I can't in good conscience tell you that it's easy to install but that's not this products fault, it's Samsung's... Definitely worth the money, saved me hundreds doing it myself.

Even though it’s a pin to change out. The product came fast intact and now my dryer works. So can’t complain!

The element was the correct part but was missing the fuse that is necessary to be usable.
