Work boots were comfortable and have great ankle support.

On the upside, overall the boot is fairly lightweight and very comfortable. I like the type of rubber used in the Vibram sole, which feels like rubber and not "plastic," like some manufacturers' boots. However, the liner inside the boot (which I suspect is the waterproofing) is sort of like a bag. On the left boot, there was a little too much of the material so it bunched up at the toe. If it weren't for that, I would likely have kept them in a larger size. I'm normally a 12.5 and this was a 13 but it was still a little snug, especially for hiking boots. You will want to size up at LEAST a full size, probably a size and a half if you're going to use thick wool socks.
