Yes, Flair Espresso Makers can be used for tea, but the PRO 2 version features a fully bottomless portafilter, which means that it is very likely that no resistance can be built in the puck even with finely ground tea leaves. Most users will prefer the Flow-Control Portafilter found on the Flair NEO for tea brewing, as this generates pressure automatically in the portafilter and will strengthen the steep of the tea.

Is this machine NSF certified?

The Flair is not NSF certified, but we are currently going through the certification process and hope to be soon!
