Drawing Human Anatomy Paperback – December 31, 1995

Great for ref and copypretty much that, it doesnt goes too deep into anything really. Its kinda thin and the font is large, but all in all its what you'd expecrt. A real nice ref book on anatomy of the average person and not those "bulky super humans"Also good to note that this artists drawings are gourgeos, even his sketchs got that feel of form and roundness to them that feels great!Be warned, this is not a how-to nor tutorial. It got some nice tips, but dont go in-depth on anything at all

I really enjoyed this book and still do, anytime I am hunting for inspiration on poses or just need some guidance for a certain pose I can normally flip through this book for referencing. Great tool and has tons of helpful tips and guides!

This book goes into great detail as to the details of different muscle groups and how they affect expressions and poses. It is not a "How to Draw" book in the sense of "start with a base sketch, then do x y and z" so do be careful if you're looking for more of a how to.However, if you are a bit more experienced in drawing this is a wonderful reference for the artist wanting to draw poses, body parts and expressions of various kinds.

A great reference work for those new to anatomy drawing, great illustrations and well-written text.

This book is good for what it covers, but the title is ridiculously misleading. Except for a few illustrations of women's faces, there are no illustrations of the female body in this book. Want to draw a throat, an abdomen, hips? You'll only find male examples in this book, and for that matter, only Caucasian examples.It is not a guide to drawing human anatomy but drawing a subset of humans, the male subset.

I have purchased several of these books. Every time I see a young person with interest and talent I feel I have to give them this beautiful work of art!

Das Buch ist gebraucht, aber sehr gut erhalten. Es hat keine Einträge oder Verschmutzungen.Von daher genau, was ich wollte. Für Künstler, die Menschen in unterschiedlichen Haltungen zeichnenwollen, ideal zur Anschauung.

I love Civardi’s art work and having already purchased some of his books I saw this on Amazon. It was second hand and very cheap but in good condition. The book is A4 size and 87 pages a bit longer than many of his other publications. This is an excellent book with a column on one side of each double page spread with the medical terminology and brief explanation while the main drawings fill the rest of the pages. It's a valuable addition to my art library.

Wie immer beim Zeichnen lernen: wer sich wirklich die zeit nimmt und fleissig sowie konsequent übt wird mit diesem Buch (Büchlein?) seine Freude haben. Civardi ist ein Könner und findet zumindest für mich die richtige "Sprache" mir das, was ich lernen möchte auch richtig zu vermitteln. Schauen Sie sich gerne auch seine anderen Publikationen an!
