Great for home use!!!
Love this barre! Very sturdy hardware and easy to install! Recommend installing directly into studs or additional hardware will need to be purchased. Barre should be waist high. After install... Feels very stable! Recommend for any home studio! Purchased to use in between barre classes and also for stretching and for a stabilizer for misc workouts. Definitely would recommend!

Power tool required
Love this barre! I used coconut oil to smooth the surface. My mom and I were able to install it in two sessions. The instructions are very clear except for the fact that a power drill is absolutely required, hence the second session to finish the installation. Many thanks to Amazon reviewers who recommended a ratchet wrench (pictured above, size 10 metric or 3/8" SAE). This little wrench was VIP in tightening the screws into the wall studs when the power drill could go no further.

Installation
The product is good. No complaints about the product at all. The brackets are actually larger and better quality than they look in the first photo.Just be aware of how you plan to mount it before choosing a length. I purchased the 4ft bar, which is actually 47.5 inches . It comes with two mounting brackets. My plan was to mount the brackets directly into wall studs. When I went to install, I found my wall studs were 24 inches apart, so I had to position the brackets 48 inches apart. I wanted bar to extend a few inches past the brackets, but because of the stud layout, the bar doesn't make it all the way through the brackets. I was barley able to install the smaller screws that stabilize the bar within the brackets.A solution would have been to first install a backer board to the wall, allowing the brackets to be positioned anywhere, but I didn't have those materials on-hand, and I was too lazy to make a trip to the hardware store. A cheaper solution would have been to buy the 5ft bar for the extra $5.The bar works great regardless, but some food for thought when choosing between some of the shorter lengths.

Love
I love this barre. I taught fitness classes for years and was a regular at my barre studio. I work too much and don’t want to have to drive to classes so my husband set this up for me. It’s super nice, sturdy and studio quality. Don’t DIY you barre. But this. Spend the money and have something you’ll actually use. Word of advice. Put the mirror in before you put the barre into the brackets. I was too excited to see the finished product and ended up having to take the barre out of the brackets to put the mirror behind it. Love it and everyone who sees it wants one

I have never seen a lag bolt made so terrible. 1/4 turn to much and it breaks off ...
Wow ! I have never seen a lag bolt made so terrible. 1/4 turn to much and it breaks off in the wall. You then have to move the whole thing over to the next stud. How do you get a sheared off lag bolt out of a stud. I thought OK it was my fault for tightening it to tight. Moved it over and was very careful not to shear it because there was no other place to move if it did shear. Sure enough, it sheared. Now I have three bolts holding my bar.If you get this bar, use your own lag bolts that are made right.

Install me on the wall, I'm worth it
I'm a Barre teacher and installing this in my workout room has made all of the difference! I just love it. It is beautiful addition as well as functional Barre. The wood is very well sanded down and it's very sturdy. I'm glad I went with this instead of buying one of those portable barres!

The barre I've always wanted
LOVE IT. I have wanted a ballet barre in my home gym to use for stretching. I bought the 6' version. We were able to screw the lag bolts directly into the studs. It is very sturdy and solid once mounted. The black metal supports are very sturdy and painted in a not-glossy black paint. There are black plastic covers to hide the lagbolts. I'm leaving my wood bar as-is (no paint/varnish).

Great quality. Looks beautiful
Installed at 40 inches high which is what my barre class has it at height wise. Great quality. Looks beautiful!! Could have 2 people on this with room. Installed in my basement. I did add a support underneath as the instructions recommended and its very sturdy.

Good product.
The wood bar is unfinished. It is about 1/8" smaller than the metal round. Since the bar is pre-sanded, I paint it with verathane with ease. Good product.
