It's different
This my first purple toothpaste. For starters, it kind of burns. Not like a hot mint or cinamon, but something else. It's weird. I've been using this a couple of weeks and haven't noticed any whitening, but it could be very subtle.

seeing progress
Taste is super minty but I’m definitely seeing progress after using it for 2 weeks!

Intensely minty
Tastes exactly like an old school pain relieving cream/heat rub or heartburn medicine. The minty flavor is pretty intense. It does leave your mouth feeling clean, but I can’t speak to whether or not if it whitens.

Very minty toothpaste!
Tastes really minty and leaves your breath really fresh and clean. Not sure if it's going to whiten my teeth, but we will see in due time!

I really like this toothpaste!
I was expecting a standard tube (plastic with lining) of toothpaste. Well....first impressions on this was the box is absolutely adorable. The colors are pretty, it has a tooth coloring reference chart on the side of the box that is perforated to remove from the side. The chart has some characters printed in reverse so that you can look in the mirror and read it.The only characters not in reverse are the age references as to what shade teeth are at certain ages such as 30's, 40's, etc..The tube is reminiscent of stuff I only last remember seeing in the 80's in the way of toothpaste, but you will find these metal tubes used in prescriptions medications, creams, salves, etc...The tube was sealed closed by the metal and to open it, there is a shape on the lid where you reverse it on to the tube and puncture it.The toothpaste was slightly different than expected; more opaque than what you see in the image as a darker clear gel. This is more like a paste. I don't want to use the word grit as a bad thing, but it has something in it that helps polish. Like that polishing paste the dentist uses. The taste is very pleasant. It tastes exactly like a certs mint, a mix between spearmint and winter mint maybe? Either way, it was a nice, potent mint and I like it.I used a standard amount (not a big ol glob) with an electric toothbrush. It did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. I can feel when the underside of my teeth and back teeth get a build up and regular brushing just won’t get it off. I have to resort to an electric brush and still sometimes it is stubborn. This stuff did the job and my teeth were so shiny it was impressive.Did it change any teeth shading? Eh…no not really, but just for it’s cleaning properties, I’d buy it anyway. The whitening would be secondary for me, but I understand others want that so I’m not going to blow smoke and say it did anything. For the price, it's decent and I would feel that I got my money's worth.

A little intense; smells like muscle rub
Euthymol Purple Whitening Toothpaste (3.7 fl oz) (ASIN : B0DSKZ4Y27) This toothpaste is supposed to help brighten dull yellowed teeth a bit, while being gentle on sensitive teeth. There is a little color gauge on the box, which is perforated for you to punch out and save, so you can watch your progress, if any.Although it says it's a bold mint, the first time I used it, I found it rather mild. I easily get turned off by most mint flavorings. Oddly, it smells like original formula Ben Gay, so I guess it's mostly menthol flavoring. The next time I used it, it was more intense.

Good if you like wintergreen
Purple wintergreen toothpaste, I have to admit that I hesitated using it when I first saw it on the brush. It is reminiscent in color of that purple shampoo that tones blonde hair and it tastes like wintergreen Lifesavers, minus any sweetness.I did give it a go, and as a big coffee/tea drinker, I do have some staining, but I've been using Sensodyne Repair and Protect toothpaste for some months now and been happy with the results. My teeth did feel clean after using, but the wintergreen lingers. My permanent teeth have never been perfectly white since their coming in, so I did not expect much from this. Can I tell any difference? Yes, after a week, there was a minor tone change, but not enough for me to switch permanently to this. I could never get used to the flavor of it. I am going to keep it and use it now and again like a bit of tone maintenance for brightening, just can't stomach the flavor on the daily.
