Two Thumbs Up for the Whistle and Seller 👍🏻👍🏻
I bought the brass C sweetone whistle because the sound is good in brass. The whistle itself is very attractive. The brass has a protective coating which makes the whistle look golden. It’s a bit bigger than my high D whistle and has a nice feel. It has a pleasing, mellow tone and not heavy to hold. The Sweetone would be appropriate for a beginner or experienced player. What was a pleasant surprise it resources, a fingering chart and a few songs were included along with the company’s phone # and offer to answer questions. I’m really happy with my Whistle and would certainly recommend the seller.

Good whistle
This is an excellent whistle. i have no complaints. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I have a slight preference for the tone of the Clarke originals over this one. That said, this one actually "cuts" a little better in a band situation, so it's all down to what you want and are looking for.

Great beginner's whistle
I'm new to playing penny whistles, but for the price this plays perfectly well. It's a little air sensitive compared to others, but plays similar to the other Clarke I have; both are good to learn on. Not too loud which helps for practicing but it can get a little intense in the second octave if you have roommates.

wasn't impressed....but I was just expecting too much
pretty cheap toy.....I was looking for something for the kids to play with that wouldn't annoy me like a recorder, hahaha this was slightly more annoying than a recorder for me. Couldn't make as many notes as a recorder.

Nice Tone
I’m used to playing recorder, so the switch over was easy, just a little getting used to. Nicely made, seems sturdy.

IT'S IN Bb, NOT C!
The item description says this whistle is keyed in C. When I received it, the warehouse packaging said it was in C. It is definitely keyed in Bb, which is devastating to learn when you show up for rehearsal ready to play and not only are you unable to, but now your group is missing a part. Extremely disappointing.

Not in Tune
Summary: not satisfied.- Intonation - not quality . The C whistle’s B-flat is pretty much a B natural, so most tunes I play aren’t playable.- Ergonomics - not satisfied. The whistle has a considerable seem down the underside which causes lots of annoyance during play on the thumbs.

Bought for my 12 year old who likes music. In the first day he figured out how to play a song from the Hobbit.
