Rhode Island Novelty 14" LIGHT-UP WIZARD WAND

I purchased this wand to use at school during therapy sessions. I have used the wand to “help” them sit in their chairs, give them a turn, and give them “special powers” to use their voice. The kids love it and believe it’s magic. They can’t get enough of it and continually ask for more.The wand’s sound effects are at just the right sound level….not too loud and not too quiet. The blue light that flashes is bright. The wand is lightweight.Packaging was secure. Battery worked and can be replaced. I did try to press the button when the wand was still in its packaging and it didn’t do anything. However, once the tab is pulled, everything worked fine.Overall, this is a decent wand for the price. It is versatile and can be used for Halloween costumes, dress up, or in a classroom. I’m sure that there are other ways to use it!

I bought this for my son's Halloween costume. He's 4 and loves Harry Potter. The price was good and when I seen the picture it didn't look as wizard-y as the more expensive wands, but it lights up and I thought I would just diy it to look better when it got here since it was such a good price. But it arrived and it is very cute. It looks great with his costume and he loves playing with it. 10 out of 10 would buy again.

I've had this about 2 months and use it for a few moments every week. So far it's holding up fine. It's a very subtle light that stays on only briefly while I'm pushing in the button. Sound is also very subtle Fine for my use but some may want a more dramatic effect.I've had it now for three years or more. I use it weekly, just a few sweeps at a time and it's still lighting up. I'll buy another one if this one ever gives up.

The best wand on Amazon for the price. Very cool light and sound. Seems very durable, it will definately NOT snap in half. Great quality compared to other more expensive wands. Some of the reviews read that the wand arrived broken. The seller must have addressed the issue. Mine came with Styrofoam carefully taped over the fragile tip with a note to email the seller if it arrived damaged. Do not hesitate to buy this really cool wand!

It’s cool. My kids like it. Breaks easily and is actually broken now; after a week. Not mad at it though. They still play with it, it just doesn’t light up or make the sound anymore.

This was cheap and I got it for my kid for that reason. Not even having it for 4 hours and the button fell inside the wand. I had to try to take it apart, which isn’t easy and it seems both ends are melted together, but I was able to pry it open, move the tiny circuit board and put the rubber piece back behind the button.If it came apart easier it would have been great, or if the button was a bit longer to not get lost inside the wand it would have been great.Did I fix it? Yes. Should I have to fix it? No.My kid is still obsessed with it.

Got this wand for my son to use as a part of his wizard Halloween costume. Withstood lots of play at various events. Loud, Bright, well made works great. Should last a while.

I purchased this for a co-worker who is the office go-to problem solver. She was delighted and has whipped out her wand to "fix" things many times since receiving it. It works well (I had to take the batteries out and put in again - I think they put them in backwards to avoid inadvertent battery drain in storage or transit). The look is not too juvenile for her to enjoy "fixing things" at work, and the quality appears to be good. However, not sure I'm the best judge as the usage is by an adult and only periodic - which is why it only got 4 stars as I cannot attest to how well it would stand-up to aggressive play or frequent usage.
