Rumi's Gift Oracle Cards Product Bundle – March 28, 2018

Rumi’s Gift is a set of oracle cards, featuring Rumi poems translated by Ari Hanovar and her mother Asfar, a Persian poet and literature scholar. The box includes 33 cards with Ari’s magnificient calligraphy paintings called calligrams. A calligram is a word or piece of text in which the design and layout of the letters creates a visual image related to the meaning of the words themselves. Carmen Costello has also contributed to the paintings. In addition are 33 cards with short versions of each Rumi poem corresponding with one of the paintings. There’s an accompanying book of these same Rumi poems in expanded version with very wise and insightful commentaries by Ari, and Poem in Action which a short meditation on the theme of the card, all in a beautiful gift box for safe keeping.The cards can be used as traditional oracle cards or you can be creative and do what I do: draw one card at a time, meditate on it for a day or a week, let its wisdom permeate your being and guide you to a deeper awareness and understanding of yourself. I’ve been using the cards as I work with groups of women and have found them to be most effective for a deepening exploration of consciousness.When I have a question about my life or a decision to make, or a longing I can’t put into words, I open the box and let wisdom speak directly to me through Rumi and Ari. Several times I have drawn “Ecstasy.” The painting is an exquisite rendering of a whirling dervish. Traditionally in Turkish society the dervish is a man, but I have the feeling that Ari’s dervish is feminine and I relate to her easily. The movements are graceful, fluid and transforming. She reminds me that I too, am graceful, fluid and ecstasy is my true nature. Again and again Ari brings the Divine Feminine into manifestation in these cards and who better to consult as oracle than She?Here’s the poem that accompanies ‘Ecstasy.’Even if from the sky/poison befalls all/I’m still sweetness/wrapped in sweetness/wrapped in sweetnessRumi’s Gift is also Ari’s gift – a huge talent of painting, poetic translation, and insight which comes straight from the depth of Ari’s heart. And i love that she is the only [or one of the few] woman to translate Rumi who recognized the Divine Feminine: "Woman is the radiance of God; she is not your beloved. She is the Creator - you could say she is not created." Use these cards and you will fall deeper in love with yourself and the world.

I bought these cards after hearing the Author Ari on the "Living 4D Podcast" with Paul Chek. What a wonderful and powerful episode! This was a great introduction to Rumi so I could then purchase these cards and dive deeper into each of his poems.I use these as oracle cards on a Sunday, and draw 6 cards like the instructions suggest. I then re-read these through out the week, and follow the "action" section to integrate this into my daily meditation. The artwork is beautiful and pairs very well with Rumi's elegant poetry. For anyone looking to deepen their spiritual practice, check these out!

Love Rumi so decided to get these cards even though I was not sure the artwork would resonate with me-it didn’t appear to be art that I would generally appreciate. I am so grateful I purchased the cards! The art is stunning, I feel a profound connection. I just received the cards today and am so looking forward to using them having already received excellent reading from simply opening the book to a card! Looking forward to exploring a new translation as the Rumi I am used to is generally translated by Coleman Barks. Rumi's Gift Oracle Cards are Ari Honarvar's gift to the world! The image cards are captivating and the words are enchanting. Ari's clear thoughtful guidance make this a delightful experience, a journey 'through the peaks and valleys of love' and sure conversation starter for just about anyone. There are no rules but we followed the guide and had a perfect evening.

Several of the cards arrived torn/cut making the deck difficult, if not impossible, to shuffle and use. Very disappointing.

I love the Rumi cards! They were gifted to me in 2019 at the start of my 500 hr yoga teacher training. Rumi’s poems and the stories on the cards have been a salve to many wounds and have helped me align with love and feel Beloved on some of my darkest days. Beautiful artistically illustrated cards with such beautiful poetry. I use these cards to check in everyday and find inspirational messages to reflect on daily. It’s really helped me become in tune to all parts of me.❤️

The cards were stuck together and upon wanting to unstuck them they would get damaged. I would need another set please. I love the colors the paintings.
