After two ice makers went out within a couple years in our brand new upright freezer, I bought this on a whim on prime day. It is the best $55 I've ever spent! I just start the ice maker while I'm doing tasks around the house and periodically empty the ice basket into a bin in my freezer. This little machine makes enough ice in a couple hours to last our family about a week. Once I fill the ice bin in my freezer, I drain the ice machine and let it dry and then be sure to do the self cleaning cycle before my next ice making stint. Super easy and way less expensive than replacing my freezer's ice maker, again.As far as the noise level, it is very comparable to a microwave-- has not been an issue for us at all. The machine is also quite compact... Takes up about the same amount of counter space as our toaster.We are super pleased with this purchase!!

I really love this. The only thing I wish I would have gotten a bigger one. Will be purchasing a bigger one soon. If you are a single person perfect. For a family you would definitely won't a bigger one. I opened mine got it out of the box waited the recommended 5 hours to sit before plugging it in. Within 15 minutes I had a basket of ice.

I’m very satisfied with my ice maker! It’s very quiet and was easy to get prepped and started. The ice tastes phenomenal and is perfect for munching, which I didn’t even know I liked to do before this! It’s a little misleading though. It says you have ice in 6-13 minutes and you do…you have four small cylinders of ice. Not even enough for a small cup! It does add up quickly, though, and within maybe an hour you have a freezer full. Just wish it made more than 4 at a time! It also stores at room temp so unless you stand by and transfer it as soon as it pops out, it begins to melt and then your ice freezes together in the freezer. Overall though if you’re considering such a purchase, this is a great option! I have seen other machines that are louder, more expensive, and do t make good ice. I’d definitely purchase this again.

This can fill a 16"x6"x7" ice box in an hour. That is a lot of ice. Quiet, small footprint, easily transported if you need it for a party or something, 6 minutes per batch of ice (a little more than 2 12oz glasses worth of ice). Almost an hour between refills of the water basin. Really a great purchase (spectacular price on prime day).

Fantastic little ice maker. It's small so not big enough for a family but for one person it's perfect. It's help a great deal for increasing my water intake because it's so easy to fill a large mouth water bottle, and there's always some ice ready as it's very fast. Great little scoop with it. It seems to be very durable, I know I use it a lot.

I use this everyday and could not be happier, the only issue is the noise level when making the ice but have this in kitchen so does not effect tv time. the cubes are really the best ever, like hospital ice... Soft and easy to eat. The capacity of the machine is good too do not have to fill ofter and like that it shut off with low water. The look is great very modern and sharp

A nifty little machine. Makes ice quietly, efficiently, without human interference! I bought this to use at camp so as not to stress out my 1953 Coldspot refrigerator more than needed. I am impressed with how this l ittle guy works. The ice bullets (they aren't cubes) fit into soda bottles too.

My review will sound like the others: small volume of "wet" ice. It works quickly and does what is advertised. It's just difficult to know the volume vs pounds of ice. For reference, one cycle of ice is enough for "light ice" for one glass. I ran it for several cycles over the course of several hours and got enough for our family with guests. But it has to be attended regularly. I wish there was an alarm when the cycle is complete. The ice WILL be wet, so it is very likely to stick to other ice unless you freeze it flat before adding it to the bucket. Otherwise, you'll end up with a huge ice clump, but it's easy enough to break apart. Works fine, just wish there was an alarm, it did more volume, and it wasn't so wet.
