DeMarini 2015 Voodoo Overlord FT BBCOR Baseball Bat (-3)

I bought this bat (33 inch) for my 14 year son who is freshman this year. He is about 5"8". He was previously using a 32 inch Easton Mako BBCOR. My son likes the Mako, but wanted a heavier end loaded bat...and a little longer bat so he can have more plate coverage. He also owns a couple of older BESR (-3) model bats which, not surprisingly, he can hit the ball significantly farther with. After hitting with the bat over a couple of days, it has become obvious that this bat has as good a pop as the BESRs and much better than the Mako. He also says he can't feel any vibration back in the handle. He absolutely loves this bat. I loved the price!

Lost its pop extremely quickly versus other years.

This is an awesome bat if you like to swing a big stick. The end load makes it great for squaring up meatballs. This is the 3rd voodoo I have used in high school and is by far the best. Has the most pop out of any bbcor bat I have used, the only downside is that when you get jammed and hit the ball off the handle it takes a lot to muscle the ball through a hole.

Bat did not last through the season - came flying apart while taking a practice swing. Luckily no one was hurt.

Awesome bat. Great balance and my son likes it. Price is right for the quality you receive with this bat.

It's ok

In my opinion, the best BBCOR bat on the market. Ever since I started using BBCOR, I had a hard time finding a good bat. But when I swung this one, I immediately fell in love with its tremendous pop and slightly lighter end load than the previous years model. I would recommend for any power hitter or guy who can swing it, contact hitters, you might have to look elsewhere.

Originally came with a rattle inside the bat. Contacted DeMarini and their warranty department fixed the problem. The bat works like it should. A great bat at a great price. My son has swung nothing but DeMarini for the last 6 years.
