It works ok... seems a bit cheap. Not as expected.

This a fresnel lens. Ok for burning things but not good for reading at all. It's cheaply made as well. I could have got an illuminated glass magnifier for a few more dollars. I must have missed that it was a fresnel, so that's my mistake. I may find a use for it, but NOT FOR READING. The image is wavy like all of this type.

Got this for an elderly relative who has failing eyesight due to macular degeneration. She complained that she could no longer see to read the newspaper without a magnifying glass, and she got tired of holding the heavy, traditional ones. I chose this for her because it's extremely lightweight, and has a light on it. She says it works beautifully, and it's the one she chose to pack when she was away from home for a few weeks. She's quite happy with it.

Really liked this product it is light weight and easy to use. The on button for the light is a little hard to turn on but I bought it for my husband so he can turn it on easier than I can.

I ordered this to be able to read my books easier but it's not big enough. Wished I'd never ordered it.
