My son in law jokingly said he wanted to find something like this. He was surprised to get it for Christmas. He loves it.

Well I can pick it up, so I am worthy. I did hold it up in the air, expecting lightning bolts to come down and transform me into Thor. I WAS NOT COOKING though. Maybe if I do it while preparing food I will become COOKING THOR!! Not sure.Is a gift irregardless. Hope they can lift it. Haha.Seems to b made well. Inscription is nice looking. Shure it will pound meat fine. Not sure if it is threaded on or just glued. Hopefully it's at least both. If I'm told it had a massive breakdown I'll b shure to update as such.

I purchased this as a gift for someone who collects comics and superhero items. He also loves cooking. He loves it! Is it a great kitchen tool? No, but that wasn't the purpose for the gift. He still intends to use it, but it's the novelty that is the draw here. It's got a hollow head, but it's still heavy. It's got a short handle, cause it's Thor's hammer. It was definitely worth the price.

I was a bit wary because it is hollow. But for my needs (a thicker stainless steel it seems), it breaks up ice that has been in the freezer too long beautifully. Ant it says Thor! Loving it. The handle screws off so it is easy to wash and dry. I am sure it will last a long time, especially if I used it only for what it was intended.

Adorable gift to give to any marvel lover! Had to return first one as the rubber sleeve on the handle came off, but when we received the replacement one it did the same as well, so I suppose they is just the way the product is made. (My son swung the hammer really hard once holding the handle when we originally got it and the metal hammer portion flew out of the rubber sleeve across the room!! Luckily it didn’t smash a window, tv, or another child!! Lol) Still gave it to husband as a gift from our son because it is so much fun but having to clean the two parts separately is kinda silly and not sure if the rubber portion can handle the dishwasher over time.

The "hammer" did not come in the Marvel branded box as advertised - it was loose in a regular cardboard box, not even in a sealed baggie. For a kitchen tool that is very suspicious. Perhaps it was a return and they threw it in there like that at the warehouse? I was planning to gift it as a unique kitchen gadget to a family member that loves Marvel and cooking... without the box it not only loses flare, context, branding, and value, but it's not displayable and really takes the fun out of it. Returned immediately. It's not giftable, and the way it came without the box makes me wonder where it's been... I wouldn't use it myself either.

Accidentally cracked my countertop and the lightning it produced made my cat's fur stand on end. My wife can't pick it up, like it weighs 2000 lbs, but I wield it with ease.

Came super fast in the mail, item as described and packaging did the job. As a professional chef, I personally would have liked for the handle to be a bit longer and for the head to be a bit heavier for cooking purposes. But hey, after all I’m a big Thor Fan and it does the trick. You have to try to pick one up! ;-)
