Nice Minty Flavor - Great Polishing Effect & Performance
This toothpaste from Risewell was an interesting product to try. If you are mindful of the personal care products you use and particularly hoping to avoid fluoride, it seems like this product would be high on your list. For myself personally, common toothpaste was not among the personal care items I am desperate to change. Instead, this product was something I wanted to try more out of curiosity to judge its performance vs common toothpaste. In that regard, I noticed a few immediate differences with this product vs standard toothpaste. For one the texture is much more smooth with no apparent coarse grit or particles as I am used to. This left my teeth feeling very well polished and smooth. There was almost the sensation of a thin film over my teeth that provided that nice clean feeling. The flavor was nice but much milder or more subdued vs what I’m familiar with. Call is pleasant and mildly minty.I can’t avoid mentioning the cost however, which is about the same that I pay for 5 (larger) tubes of common toothpaste from…you probably know where, the one with the hot dogs…haha. So if value is important to you, this one is gonna be a stretch. All that said, this seems like an excellent product and I’ve enjoyed using it. Personally I’d have a hard time justifying the price and using this daily unless common toothpaste presents an allergy (which in my case it does not). There may be merits for this offering better ingredients, you’ll need to be the judge of that. Still, it receives high marks for great ingredients, nice taste and great performance.

Smooth paste with a wonderfully fresh flavor
I'm careful in the toothpastes that I use so I did some looking into this brand and product before I ordered it. I was happy to find that this Wild Mint toothpaste from RiseWell is made in the USA, and does not contain gluten, SLS, parabens, propylene glycol, or fluoride. It does contain micro hydroxyapatite for remineralizing teeth and reducing sensitivity. It has a lovely herbal-mint flavor that tastes very fresh and natural. The paste is smooth and has a low-foam texture that I greatly appreciate as it makes it easy to swish after brushing so I can maximize the time my teeth spend in contact with the hydroxyapatite. My teeth feel clean and smooth after brushing, not rough or squeaky as with some toothpastes that I've tried. It's not easy to find a toothpaste with clean ingredients that feels good on my teeth, so I'm pleased that this paste works so well. The only negative is that I can't find definite info on the percentage of hydroxyapatite in the paste. If the company could confirm that it's 10%, I would certainly give this product 5 stars. This review is for RiseWell Mineral Toothpaste Wild Mint, 3.4 Oz

Don't swallow it
While not as effective at fluoride, it does re-mineralize teeth, but its long term effectiveness is questionable. Don't swallow too much of this to avoid a tummy ache.

Fresh breath and shiny teeth with a powerful, but totally clean and natural toothpaste
When it comes to toothpaste, I am pretty picky. A lot of people do not realize just how much you absorb from your skin and mucous membranes (which is why transdermal patches work so well). So, I tend to be pretty particular about the ingredients in my oral care products. This one looked great ingredients-wise, so I decided to give it a shot. However, ingredients are not the whole story, and I have had some toothpastes with super stellar, clean ingredients just not do it when it came to taste or cleaning power. I was admittedly a bit nervous about this one when it came to flavor, as there is a fairly extensive variety of essential oils (not just for flavor, but effectiveness), and the citrus mint combination in particular threw me off a bit.I was however quite surprised at the synergy of the flavors and how well they actually played together. Amusingly, right after using this for one of the first times, my eight-year-old son started following me around sniffing the air and remarking multiple times about how fresh my breath smelled. Seeing as he has little to no filter (a trait that most eight-year-old boys seem to share), this told me I was probably on the right track to fresh breath. This also got five stars for effectiveness. My teeth felt clean and smooth, looked shiny and possibly even slightly whiter after a few uses, and I woke up the following mornings feeling like my breath was just a little fresher than usual. This company no doubt gets a top-notch rating from me.

Good toothpaste, mild taste, but don't see much difference in appearance of teeth
From what I read on their web page, the idea behind this toothpaste is that they are creating a toothpaste that re-mineralizes tooth enamel without any artificial ingredients. If you look at the list of ingredients (which is rather long), many of the ingredients are plant based, like stevia, mint, cinnamon, orange peel, etc. There are some mineral components, including hydrooxyapatite, etc., not nearly as many as in most commercial toothpastes. There is no added fluoride. The toothpaste is pleasant to use, the taste is pleasant, but not too strong. It has a pretty fresh smell, not unpleasant. Both my wife and I used this for about ten days, it is reasonable toothpaste, but neither of us noticed a significant difference in the appearance or health of our teeth. My teeth tolerated the toothpaste well, and I didn't experience any sensitivity. My wife prefers fluoride-free, and she finds this toothpaste nice to use, but she is not sure she would get this toothpaste again because of the relatively high price, and so far she hasn't seen any notable change in her teeth.
