Works great, simple plug and play. Depends on your vehicle to how hard it is to run the wires from the back. I have a truck and I’m sure a car would be harder. I didn’t have to lift the vehicle to do it and I had already installed a back up camera. I can’t believe how low the price is for this. Definitely worth. My Silverado already had backup sensors. Something was wrong with the speaker that supposed to beep and ding for everything. I heard the board that it’s on has to be replaced not just the speaker. The sensor that comes with this kit are smaller than what comes from factory GM 2008. So I popped just the sensor out of its cradle, then used a uni bit to drill out the factory cradle until the sensor from the kit would fit. Barely fit but it fits. After having these sensors and cameras on the back and front I would hate not to have this on a truck. It could definitely save the life of a child.

This car parking sensor kit works really well! I decided to tackle the installation myself and did all the wiring manually. I managed to customize the setup so that I have sensor coverage on both my front and rear bumpers for a complete parking distance warning system. If you are comfortable doing a bit of custom wiring, this kit is highly versatile, accurate, and a fantastic value for adding modern safety features to an older or newer vehicle alike!

does not work, it is always beeping off and there is nothing there

Great value. The parking sensor kit option I purchased comes with 6 meter sensor cables which allows installation any where on the vehicle. You dont have to worry about placement of the control box... I only used 2 sensors, mounting them in brackets I got from Amazon. The parking sensor kit works as designed. I like that the display just shows one small red dot when not detecting anything. There is NO "beeper Hi, Lo, Mute" switch, but I simply put a small screw in the speaker hole to lower beeping volume.

The installation can be easy but the audio warning is an irritating high pitch beep that can annoy people. I could not tolerate it after a couple of uses. However the product worked as it should.

When I worked in a collision center I had been told that these systems were made using fairly special and sensitive technology that not just anyone could make; something that would require genuine process control and expertise. . . That's what I was told. As an EE enthusiast however, I thought... "These just look like single transducer ultrasonic range finders." Seeing cheap kits on here reaffirmed my suspicion. So, I took a chance on an Amachina special... and they work! .... they work rather well in fact! A word of caution though. I strongly recommend you measure, plan and mark everything out before you commit. This is not an aesthetic recommendation, placement is actually very critical to reasonable functionality and you largely only get one shot at it. Put a small circle of tape each place you think you will want to put these and step back and examine everything from afar and from several angles. It should go without saying, but it's essential that the sensor heads are point out as horizontally as you can get them, which is at least slightly cumbersome to do on a rounded bumper. Each sensor head also has a rotational orientation, make sure you observe it.

A great product at an extremely reasonable price, especially if you can do your own installation.

Kit comes with holes saw to drill the correctly sized hole for the sensors. Looks very neat and functions great with a reasonable safety margin as you reverse toward any obstacle. Easy to fit, although instructions could be a little more elaborate and clear. All in all this is a good product at a good price.
