Does as advertised. Ideal for making things like neck worn ID lanyards after all who wants something around their neck with an advertised 550lbs breaking strain?For the thicker types of cord you need to melt and mushroom the ends inside the caps, I have found that quite secure while thinner cords will knot easily.

The hole size is about right for a single paracord to pass through. And much too small for a knot to pass through. So you would think attaching this to paracord would simply be a matter of breaking the clasp in two, threading paracord through each half and tying a pair of knots to prevent coming off again. That doesn't work however. The clasp is much to small to fit back together with two knots inside it.Completely useless. Not fit for purpose.
