First impression of this light is good. It's a very powerful yet compact light. Easily fits in the hand. Construction seems of high quality. This light appears to be very durable. Iv owned another Olight in the past, as well as several other generic Chinese lights from Amazon. This is the most I've spent on a flashlight, so far, it is worth the money. The charging cable seems short, but the magnetic base works well. I use a flashlight every night at work, it is constantly by my side. This light is a good compromise between brightness and still being practical to carry. It may be slightly to big to comfortably place in a pocket, but it does come with a good holster. Holster is kind of bulky for my taste, but still well built. Most guys at my workplace use the streamlight stinger, a very widley used flashlight. Iv avoided this light for several years due to it's size. I prefer the size and power of the R50 pro seeker. Also I'll note, the magnet is stong enough to allow the flashlight to hang on a magnetic surface.

The British call a flashlight a "torch". This is a TORCH! I own one of these, plus one of the "LE" versions, and a plain (non-pro) R50 and they are all great lights. The "non-pro" is nice because it has a place to attach a lanyard and this is a light you don't want to drop or lose. The non-pro can also be charged with a standard micro usb charger which means you don't have haul an adapter or worry about losing the adapter. On the other hand the PRO is brighter. Too bad they can't offer a PRO with a place for a lanyard and a standard charger connection.This is the flashlight described in the cartoon XKCD. Flashlight nuts should just Google "XKCD" and "1603" for a good chuckle.An update - I moved this rating down to the bottom because the flashlight failed in December and Olight, after initially saying over a month ago they would send a replacement battery, has stopped responding to emails. Phone calls to them only go to voicemail. I own at least six Olight products and this one is my last.

hands down the best flashlight on the market. you would be a fool to buy another piece. 10/10. as bright as day blinding as can be. used this on my expedition to costa rica in the rain forest at night. it lit up the forest like it was the sun.

Light is bright, as advertised. I hadn't used it more than 10 minutes in the past month since purchase, when the magnetic charger stopped working. It's now a useless brick.Update 4/24/17: Tried to contact the manufacturer via their webpage, phone, Facebook, PM'd them via FB messenger, email to [email protected], among others. No response after two weeks. I'm downgrading my rating to one star.

It's just the right size, has extreme battery life and is great quality.I'm seriously thinking about purchasing another one just to have one.

I own several flashlights and this one will surely find its place on my favorite list.Super quality build and function.Very good balance of throw and spill.Great size, feels perfect in hand.3200 lumens is nice and bright.Highly recommended.

I bought this because i work in ems. It was great while it lasted. Brightest flashlight i ever owned. Now it won't work unless its on the charger. I spent the money feeling it would last. Guess i was wrong
