Fixed my not working throttle
After I tested it, I cut the famous " grey wire" that disables the Pedal Assist (the one on the FOUR wire connector, NOT the 5 wire with the blue) . This alone was worth the full price to me. Be CAREFUL, chipping away at the white Silicone holding in the 5 white connector, there is a fragile black rubber gasket behind it.

Fixed the issue, Yay!
Was relieved to find "controller" error icon on the Bafang BBS-01 dash, that appeared when the motor stopped working, to be accurate. Replacing this part did fix the motor. Took a month to receive from China, but worth the wait. Exact fit to replace original controller. (For BBS-01, 2nd generation.) Only (tiny) issue was headlight switch cable much shorter than on the original. A wire snip and splice easily fixed that. Now 100% up and running. Found the original gasket between the motor body and this part somewhat displaced and kinked when I opened it up, which may have allowed water in as the cause of the malfunction. There was much internal oxidation revealed in the cavity that should have been prevented/ waterproofed by the gasket. Suggest to others proactively buying new gasket and replacing at same time as this part. I used silicon goop on old damaged gasket since I didn't have a replacement gasket. So far working well; correct part fit, and it works!

got as a spare for a bbs02 i ordered (duh)
both the controller the unit came with AND this one AND one purchased from another site both blew as soon as i powered the motor on even with nothing else attached except the battery (worked fine on another slightly older motor) and display/programming cable (also worked fine with the older motor). confirmed with multimeter and another motor. i dont know if it was a bad run of controllers or if bafang is just becoming crap. once bitten twice shy.3 stars since cause of failure is unknown. could be controllers since they all had the same manufacturing run according to programming cable right before they blew (they should redesign them to have a fuse or something to prevent this) could be the motor. no idea, but like i said once bitten twice shy. not likely buying bafang again

problem and a cure
my 750w bafang motor has shut down during extended hard runs.. comes back when cooler. will the hirer amp MOSFETs of the 1000 w controller give me more ability be fore self protection is triggered? is it compatible?

Der bestellte Ersatzcontroller für meinen BBS02B Motor kam schneller als erwartet.Achtung: die Dichtungen (Motor und Kabeldurchführungen) müssen extra bestellt werden (wenn sie bei Tausch kaputt gegangen sind)Gefallen hat mir nicht das das Paket auf der Ecke aufgerissen war (durch Post oder Spedition?)

It's good fitted my gen 1, bbshd, did have to change the 3 plugs but no worries, gave me the output for a shift sensor
