Works great and easily washable
Have used this cloth shower curtain for 8 months as an inter curtain to the shower which protect the colorful and not water proof out curtain. I like that it has metal eyeholes for better durability. It does after a month use get pink algae along the bottom of the curtain that touches the tub (it's a shower/tub combo). Putting the curtain into the washer on delicate and two ounces of bleach will get rid of the algae. Our last one lasted about two years.

Bought another one for spare!
Update Jan 2023: Started to use the last of 3 I bought back in 2018. This last one is just for when I have guests. The other 2 are still being alternated between machine washings. Not so white as the new one but not so discolored that I don't still use them. The first one is curled up at the weighted bottom and a duller shade of white. I will retire it now having done a excellent job of keeping shower water inside the bath. I am on Amazon to buy more! Would highly recommend!I have been through a number of fabric shower curtains in the past 30 odd years and am impressed with this one. It feels like fabric, looks good, doesn't let shower water through but does let light through. I wash it on warm, heavy soil setting once a week, hang back up without drying, and since November it has no sign of mold or orange at the base. The shower is in use daily, some with very hot showers. Can't believe the price for this great shower curtain that it's more expensive, think double, even triple, counterparts couldn't achieve. By now others would have the ugly sight of the orange or black mold. Bought another as a spare and thinking of a third because it seems whenever I find a good product it goes out of production! The only upgrade, which is not a big deal to me, is that it has no grommets, just button holes to put the shower rings through.UPDATE: Jan 2020 Still using the curtain daily, has some discolouration around the bottom weights but going strong. Use one of the new ones for when we have guests but go right back to the original after guests have left. Still wash weekly on warm, heavy soil, air dry on curtain rail. Excellent shower curtain, would buy more but I bought an additional 2 back with original and only use them for guests coming! Highly recommend. Having no grommets has not been a problem as feared, no fraying or ripping.

Looks Good - So Far...
I've had this curtain for only about 2 weeks so I can't comment on it's claims to be mold and mildew resistant. They say it is fabric with rain coat technology. It hangs like fabric, but I'd easily mistake it for vinyl. It looks like I can wash it in the washing machine without damage to the curtain. I'm hopeful that washing the curtain will not change it's mildew and mold resistance. By the looks of the fabric, I don't think that washing the soap scum off of it in the washing machine would be a problem.I thought that it was relatively inexpensive, so even if it does turn out to get mildew-y I wouldn't feel bad about replacing it after a year.It was the only fabric curtain that I could find that claimed mold and mildew resistance. The jury is still out on whether I'd get another, but I would recommend this product for people who have mildew problems and want to have a fabric curtain that they can wash. For the money, it's well worth a try.

Really Water Proof
I have used this as my shower curtain for 2 months now.Functionality: It is lightweight, but seems durable. Although it is lightweight and seems like fabric, it really is waterproof. If your bathtub forms a seal with the curtain, NO water will seep out. I have sprayed water at it directly in this manner before and no water ever penetrated. Other reviews who claim their curtain leaks probably have the curtain hanging out of the tub, and any curtain would leak in that case.Appearance: It is opaque enough to block out everything on the other side of it, but let's some light through. It is not a fancy looking curtain, but it is nice and presentable. It does come folded and these folds will stay in it unless you do something to remove them. I didn't, and I think it looks fine, though.Bottom Line: If you need a cheap shower curtain or curtain liner, this is a presentable, waterproof solution.Note: I never fluff the stars I give to items. Star inflation on amazon has led me to buy some really crappy products so I am very realistic when I give out stars. I review products for what they are, not what I wish them to be.

Works well
This shower curtain serves its purpose and that's about it. I like that it doesn't have metal grommets at the top, but has the stitched hole instead. Nice. BUT, it is not soft as it states it is. It feels as close to plastic as it can get, and yet is indeed polyester. I washed mine today to see if that would soften it up at all, but it didn't. Oh well. For an $8 curtain, it will be fine until I can find one I really like.UPDATE: We have been using this curtain for awhile now and I have to say, it works really well. I throw it in the wash with our sheets every Friday to make sure it gets cleaned and disinfected and I have absolutely no mildew at all. I think the trick for that is washing it weekly, as we do. One thing, I don't put it in the dryer. I hang it back up and let it dry naturally along with our freshly washed shower puffs. Anyway, it did soften up and does what it is suppose to. Am going to buy another one just to have on hand. At this price, you can't beat it.
