Good quality
This is my first coffee grinder I have always bought ground coffee so I decided to try grinding my own. I still need to work out which beans will end up as favourites . The grinder seems well made and the instructions are easy to follow, very easy to operate and grinds quite accurately according to the setting you use. There are 40 settings fine to coarse and depending on your brewing method that allows plenty of choice. I have used fairly coarse for a french press and much finer for a percolator/ moka pot so far. It feels good value for the money and I feel hand grinding is a nice part of making your own coffee, maybe one day I will try an electric one but meanwhile I am happy with this.

Effective and great value
Great value for money. Easy to use and clean. Has clear settings for making different coarseness, fineness of grounds. Love it! Also much lighter and smaller than others on the market. I take it with me on short trips as doesn't take up much room.

Works for Aeropress - recommend
I have little to compare this with. I do have a blade grinder that was a pain and ground beans to a very very fine powder at the bottom and rough at the top. I use a Nespresso machine to avoid having the hassle of grinding beans. I also use ready ground coffee in filter machine and more often cafetières. I read and watched loads of videos on grinders and was bamboozled. I got an Aeropress Go for Christmas and fancied grinding beans for using it plus having a small travel grinder. I almost bought a Hario at twice this price. However, this grinder arrived today and I have ground 2 lots of beans on setting 0 for the Areopress to make espresso style coffee. It works well. 16g of beans almost fully fill it. A few more could fit but not many more. 16g on setting 0 grind rougher than my blade grinder but when used in the Aeropress filling to level 2 they produced really nice drinks. I had one as an espresso and the other mixed with frothed milk for a cappuccino. Taste really good. Takes a minute or so to grind. The grinder comes with a brush to clean. My method was: grind 16g of Italian espresso dark roast beans; boil kettle and let it cool for a few seconds to try and aim about 85 degrees C; I use a metal filter and attach to Aeropress; put coffee in Aeropress; pour hot water to around level 2 on Aeropress; stir with stirrer; wait 30 seconds; put plunger in and pull back to create vacuum; after 30 seconds push plunger (gently) down until reaches bottom with hissing noise. Drink. Fully recommend - works for me

Brilliant little grinder
This is a great little grinder, producing enough smooth coffee for one/two people. It is lightweight but this takes nothing away from how sturdy it is. Good value for money in our opinion.

Good but not suitable for espresso without modification
The finest setting is not suitable for espresso. It can be hacked by putting a washer under the retaining clip at the top of the shaft so you can get a grind size fine enough. When do get it finer it takes longer to grind making doing it by hand a long tedious job, but again you can hack it by attaching a drill instead of the handle. With the modifications it does get a good grind.

It’s small but perfectly formed
One of the best cheaper grinders I’ve ever used, very well made I’ve been using it 3 or 4 times a day and nothing has got loose on it, the handle is just the right length so it’s easy to grind and the adjustability for grind size means you can really dial in on the perfect size. So in short it look great works brilliantly and if you wanted to it’s small enough to be portable that if you’ve got a setup you like to take out and use wherever it’ll fit in that too

Great little grinder
Great little grinder for small volume s of coffee. Good grinding selection … fine to course Easy to use good leverage from handle. Glass receiver great fit keeps things fresh and filling very easy. If you are experimenting with coffee bean flavour and geography/source this grinder is perfect for try different blends. Used it for filter coffee and in an espresso machine.

Precision at Its Finest – A Must-Have Manual Grinder for Coffee Enthusiasts
As a coffee enthusiast who enjoys the ritual of grinding beans fresh each morning, I’ve tried several manual grinders over the years — including the Prolex — but this one truly stands out. The build quality is excellent, and the precision of the grind settings is remarkable. With 40 adjustable settings, it offers an impressive level of control over grind size, whether you're brewing espresso, pour-over, or French press. What sets this grinder apart is the consistency. Unlike my previous grinder, which relied on adjusting the burr screw and often resulted in uneven grinds, this model delivers a uniform grind every time. The adjustment mechanism is intuitive and allows for fine-tuning with ease, making it ideal for those who like to experiment with different brewing methods. The grinder is compact and portable, perfect for travel or small kitchens. The hand crank operates smoothly, and the ceramic burrs do a great job preserving the flavor of the beans. It’s surprisingly efficient — grinding a dose for espresso or a full cup takes minimal effort. If you’re serious about your coffee and want a reliable, high-precision manual grinder, this is an excellent choice. It exceeded my expectations and has quickly become an essential part of my morning routine.
