These wax paper bags are just what I was looking for. Everything is plastic in the stores. You cannot find a wax paper bag on the shelves. These are also a good value. The bags are slightly smaller than the cut rite brand bags. However, they are just as sturdy and perfect for snacks in lunches. I don't think they would fit a sandwich though.

Too many with holes!!!
Really terrible! Most were torn or badly wrinkled. Very cheap product, I will never buy them again.

Fantastic Buy
I use these to hold my handmade cards that are too bulky for a conventional envelope. They work very well for this purpose as some embellishments on the cards (A2 size and some a bit larger) I have put in were as big as an inch thick and they were accommodated nicely. Decorative tape or washi tape sticks nicely to it to make a cute closure for them. Easy to dress up with fabric scraps and/or paper die cuts. I have heat embossed on them and stamped on them as well. The heat embossing took nicely and after heat setting the stamp ink, it looked good as well. I plan on using them for birthday treat bags as well soon. They will be able to hold a few cookies or some candy easily.

Nice treat bags
We will be using these for candy. We purchased a stamp to stamp the front of them. It works great and is a lot cheaper than having custom ones printed, even with buying the stamp. If you do stamp on them make sure you lay them out to dry several hours before touching or stacking them.

These are quality bags.
These are the perfect size for the GIANT cookies I bring to sell at our local farmers' market. I used to just wrap the cookies in waxed paper, but it was very time consuming and often hard to keep them shut without having to use tape. (Ever try to use tape on waxed paper? It doesn't always go well!) My ingredient labels stick very well to these bags and still keep that professional, environmentally friendly look that I'm going for. I'll likely order some in smaller sizes for other items.

Worked, but could have been better.
These bags I needed to use for classroom treat giving. They accepted embossing just fine. But the quality of the bags was just OK. The seaming is a little off. Some of the bags were misshapen or not complete (for example, the bag had been made from an end edge of paper so the bag had part of it missing). Also - these bags did not have the nice zig zag finishing edge. It is a straight cut - sometimes not quite straight (making the bags not quite square when you fold the edge down). The straight cut is OK - just not as decorative looking. I may buy these again. But I did find glassine bags with the decorative edging elsewhere - and with the weekly coupons they offer and the occasional sale they have - the pricing is better per bag than these. If you need 100 - I would order two sets - to allow for any mangled/misshapen bags.

Thin Material, Good Interior Size
These bags are more see-through than I originally thought. They are pretty thin, almost like a paper. They would probably be good for a wedding, or a one-time usage that doesn't involve much weight. I purchased them for homemade Greeting Cards, and was disappointed they were not made from a thicker material. However, the price was good, and shipping was fast.
