Mosquito Magnet Rechargeable Battery Pack for Liberty Plus and Executive... COME ON NOW, IT'S A BLOODY BATTERY, THAT I USE.

We bought a Mosquito Magnet machine which came with this battery. We bought this battery as backup. Both of these batteries will not keep a charge. This battery will work for a couple of days then needs to be recharged. We have never had this problem. We recently replaced our Mosquito Magnet that we used for 10 years and only had to replace the battery once. This is very annoying and we would really appreciate a battery pack that will stay charged. We have followed the directions for charging. We have all the batteries we've ever purchased and will probably have to open one of the old batteries and compare with the new battery pack to determine the problem.

Had the Liberty Plus Mosquito Magnet for about 5 yrs... and couldn't get it started this year. Had some trouble last year but finally got it going... this year wouldn't fire up. I ordered this new battery, charged it for 24 hours and fired right up first time and been working great for a month. Perfect fix to get Liberty Plus back working.

Warning! This is not a Mosquito Magnet brand battery as shown in the picture above. I received a black battery manufactured by Dantona Industries. Will provide a follow-up as to how this battery works going into next year.Update: July 11, 2016 - battery has functioned fine over the past past two seasons

Initially, I had a hard time getting my battery to hold a charge, but after a second attempt my Magnet seems to be working fine. (Been most of a month now.) My guess is the charger connection is a little wobbly or something. Thanks!

Lasted only 3 season's. Went to charge it today and DOA. I found an old battery (that had some wire issues that I am now going to fix) and that is probably like 6+ years old and that worked fine. I would think they would last longer than that for the money we are paying. If you ask me, there should be a guarantee. This is a cheap replacement battery. Today, I went to charge it for the first time to use it in my MM. Within 5 minutes, an alarm went off and it was so hot that I had to wait to remove it from the MM. If I had not been home, it is likely I would have had a serious fire. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PRODUCT.
