I was tired of jumping through hoops to upload my rides via Ant+ and wanted something with Bluetooth, as well as something with a touch screen and ability to integrate with the Garmin Varia. The 820 checked all the boxes and was reasonably priced. Happy with it so far. My only complaint it the non-user-friendly interface. Every Garmin product seems to suffer from poor UI design, and this one is no different.
