Dell Latitude E4300 13.3" Laptop (Intel Core 2 Duo P9400 2.40GHz, 160GB HDD, 2048MB DDR3 SDRAM, DVD/CD-RW, Lubuntu 14.04 OS)

I bought two computers from Link-Tronics Memory, one for my wife and one for myself. They came on time and were very well packaged.They were listed as having Lubuntu as an OS and 2 gigs of memory. Both mine came with Windows 7 professional and 4 gigs of memory, a definite plus. Saved me from installing Windows on my wife's, and since I use Linux almost exclusively, I can do my own thing. Also saved me from buying memory.Both computers booted up and performed flawlessly out of the box.Batteries? Well, they weren't too good, but I expected that. I bought two batteries for about $13 each from Amazon. I figured that into the price when I bought the computers, so that was not an issue from the onset.Minor scratches were on both computers as expected and as advertised. I have not been disappointed in the least.The computers came with chargers, and all the necessary items to make them functional and I have haven't had a problem with either of them.I have had good luck with Dell Computers in the past, so, I was looking for a Dell to begin with. I have two Dell PC's, old, but workhorses that have been very reliable.The case is metal and the hinges are strong and tight, as I have noticed in many reviews that this is a problem with many laptops. From what I understand, this computer was built for a business environment, so it was designed to be durable. I read reviews extensively before I buy anything online. I also throw out reviews from those that demand Corvette performance when buying a Rambler. If you want a gaming computer, buy one.These are the first laptops that I have purchased/owned. I am very pleased with them and with Link-Tronics Memory . They exceeded my expectations.

I was amazed it had so many features for such a low price. Mine came with a Webcam and backlit keyboard. My wife has a Asus that she spent three times what I paid for this and she doesn't have a backlit keyboard. I had a good time rubbing that one in her face. Light weight and thinner than expected, along with a dvd drive. This is a late model laptop that can blow away laptops twice its age. You will get your money worth and then some buying this laptop.

Amazing laptop for the price. Came with Windows 7 but I am running Linux Lite on it. It has shown to be fully compatible with both OS's. Camera, speakers, WiFi, and other hardware operate seamlessly. Good battery, back-lit keyboard, and it's hard to beat the hardware specs! Day one and very satisfied!

Very impressed with this laptop, i mean was it really used... super happy with it, came with 4gb of ram, webcam, windows 7 professional. Battery is no good but I went ahead and purchased one from amazon for 10.68$.

The computer itself was fine; but, it's battery was "shot" necessitating the purchase of a replacement and hence ibcreasing it's cost!

It is a pretty good computer. The speaker did not work so I have been using ear phones since I got it. It does not have a HDMI cord like someone said it did in the questions. There is no webcam. Overall it gets the job done for someone who needs a computer but it on a budget. It arrived at my house in two days with standard shipping so that is a huge plus.
