These cans go for way more at brick-and-mortar stores, and a lot of the time all you can find are the 20 oz. cans. 20 ounces is a bit too much for one serving, and yet not enough for two. 15 ounces is perfect. Less than three minutes time to heat in the microwave and tastes great, though I personally prefer to add a dash of garlic salt to boost the flavor a bit. As at least one other reviewer stated, I do believe there used to be more meat content, but I think it's actually better now. I'm not really a fan of super meaty stew. I highly recommend buying this, especially if you're on a budget like myself.

It's delicious. It's a bit salty, but the portion size is just right, and it's a great meal when eaten with rice. It has a can opener so you can open it without any tools, and if you're in a hurry, you don't need to microwave it. But it tastes even better when heated. Meat + the right amount + a little salt + long-term storage = this product. If you're packing for a shelter, definitely pack this. I even have some in my tiny room. When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll have a few more weeks to live. But I might die of boredom before then because I can't play games.

Like the title says, "Where's the beef?" I haven't had beef stew in while (couple of years). Always had stew from the larger (20 oz?) cans. I recall having to break up large chunks of beef blocks in the stew. In these smaller cans, I can barely see any meat. Is the beef puréed into the stew? Dinged 1 star for lack of solid chunks of beef like the label. Luckily, it still taste pretty good (with all the added sodium, it has to taste good, right?).
