What warranty comes with this as stopped working after 6 months. No return product option?

Any goods sold in this country, are covered by the sale of goods act. Which means 12 months warranty.

I've seen one website that claims the smartfeed 2.0 can be set to feed every 24, 48 or 72 hours but i can't see it in the manual. is this correct?

It is absolutely correct, and it is in the manual. It requires a bit of practice, but worth it. It can be set to feed 1 day alone, or also 1 day and a 2nd day, up to 3 days. It can also be set to feed just once a day or twice a day, or three times daily, on each required days.

Can I set this feeder for only 1 or 2 feedings a day?

yes this can be done as I have mine feeding once a day. all you need to do is set the normal time then set the progames as 1 to first feed will the time and amount and and press set press set then set program 2 to the second feed time and amount and press set then press set and enter nothing into program 3. this will now feed only twice at the times stated. hope this is of some help Tim

how many weeks can it last? specially when on holiday>

I have a juwel 450 with 14 large angels and 10 Corrie cats and 20 rummy nose tetra I feed twice a day and find the feeder lasts about 2 weeks and the fish are growing and lay eggs so must be happy
