Red Fork Smoky Tomato Sloppy Joe Skillet Sauce, 8 oz

Easy to use and very flavorful !

When our grocery store stopped carrying our favorite brand of Sloppy Joe mix, we thought we'd try this. We bought two packages and would return the second one but it's "non-returnable". VERY disappointed in the flavor. My wife commented more than once that "it needs something".Also, for the price, you shouldn't expect to have to add additional ingredients beyond the ground beef, but the directions call for the addition of tomato sauce. If we use the second package, we'll certainly be adding more than just tomato sauce. Like, some spices maybe?Did I mention it's very bland?

I heartily endorse/recommend this superior,savory sloppy Joe sauce. Do yourself a favor/kindness and buy some.

Unfortunately as good as it is the demand is high supply is low I came to Amazon to buy I actually got the last 2 they had at the time. My locals grocery stores just don’t seem to be able to find locally. If you find it buy a lot as it well worth it and if not savor it.

I was excited to try this product, as many other brands have high Fructose corn syrup in them ....but the vinegar in the ingredients of this overwhelmed any other flavor.I tried simmering it for a long time ... still the same result. Tried to counteract it by adding brown sugar and later a bit of baking soda .. still the vinegar taste was still overwhelming. Left me quite embarrassed.

Great taste. Hard to find in stores.
