GoPro Killer - This Camera is the REAL DEAL, Folks
I own four (yes, four) action cameras. This is my fifth. I'm an active skier and surfer who uses these in water, snow, and the car.I purchased the DBPower after making the mistake of getting sucked into buying another camera with 'all the accessories' that was a real dud. That other camera was more like a toy, with the end video/picture resolution looking like it was taken on an old android phone or something. That camera went right back into the box and was returned. After that, I did a bunch of research into sub-brand action cameras, and the one that continually comes to the surface as being the real deal with exceptional image/video results was the DBPower camera line. For my needs (surfing, which obviously requires a waterproof case, and skiing, which requires the same), the DBPower is the perfect fit. The boxed product includes the camera, a battery, a USB cable, a selfie stick, two batteries, a wrist remote, and a waterproof case. (This is damn good as far as up-front amenities provided with a camera.) The instruction manual is quite good, too. Upon receiving the camera, it was notably more substantial than the other one I bought. The operation is simple, fast, the touch screen on the camera is incredibly responsive and quick, and I was up and running in seconds. I downloaded the app, and connected it quickly. I was then prompted that there was a firmware update for my camera, so I downloaded it and updated my camera (via wifi). The app works smoothly (the other camera used some 3rd party app, and it wouldn't connect). What I really wanted from a camera was something that took gorgeous photos and videos at 1080p60fps, and this one does it wonderfully! Any larger format, for me, would be too big and heavy of files to work with (and I'm not sharing my stuff on a big screen... just family TV's or computer screens). One thing I wanted to note about my first-time experience in buying an sub-brand action camera is that I was surprised how much rebranding of the same generic product that is going on in the market. Much like many 'smart watches' on the market, these cameras are the same components and housing with different brands and packaging. Whats even worse is that some of the cameras (or so I read) don't actually take the MP rating they state, but instead (due to their sensor hardware) they take a lesser number of physical pixels, and their software chops those into finer resolution... so it technically is the higher pixel rating, but from a lower resolution photo. Now that's sneaky... and nothing I want. The DBPower isn't even a sub-brand camera. It's from a top-tier Chinese electronics manufacturer. It's just lesser known by mainstream consumers (like me). I am so thankful and appreciative of other online reviewers (here on Amazon, through blogs, and through YouTube) for giving me the information I needed to make a smart choice in an action camera. For under $100, there is nothing else out there on the market that comes even close to delivering the quality and value that this camera does. Seriously. With the extras included, the quality of video and sound, et. al, this sucker is just awesome. Super happy customer on this end. Highly recommended.

What a bargain.
Having tried several other action cameras, I find this one is a bargain. I have another action camera that has more features than this DBPower camera, but this camera has really good image quality for its price, and comes with many accessories that can't be beat in a bundled package deal. The other action camera I own has a 16M image compared to DBPower's 12M image, but unless you were looking really close with a magnifying glass, it would be difficult to tell there is any discernible difference between the quality of the two images. Photos provided for comparison (DBPower 12M images on left, other camera's 16M images on right).I have not tested the durability of the included underwater housing, but will be doing so when I go scuba diving in the upcoming weeks. Update to follow.

Thus vanished a nice microSD card that was worth more than this camera
Camera worked as advertised, but the plastic mount broke in half while on a bike ride (see picture). It lasted just under 2 weeks on my handlebars before that. :( Just smooth road riding, no gravel or MTB. The camera broke off somewhere on a 10 mile route, and the handlebars are well below my line of vision, so I didn't notice until I got home. I retraced the route the next day, but couldn't find the camera. Thus vanished a nice microSD card that was worth more than this camera. :( Sadly, this was 3 days after camera return window expired (camera sat in its box for 2 weeks before I set it up).So, I guess don't use the mounts for anything strenuous, like bike riding. Would probably be ok in a helmet mount where your spine takes a lot of the jitter?Other stuff you might find useful:* Image quality is really incredible. 4k is something to see, as is the smoothness of 1080p/60. If you haven't used anything better than a phone camera lately, prepare to be impressed.* Battery life out of the box was around 70 minutes at 1080p/30fps. Seemed slightly shorter at higher resolutions or framerates.* Audio doesn't work inside the waterproof case, but apparently that's a standard issue with action camera (even GoPros). There are some incredible homebrew solutions out there (drilling and soldering 3.5mm jacks) that I was hoping to try.* Night image quality is terrible - don't plan to use it as a nighttime camera, period. Basically blackness with streaks of light.* 2/12 video files I recorded ended up corrupted/bad somehow and couldn't be played. Don't rely on it to capture a once-in-a-lifetime experience.* Instructions are solid and the configuration UX isn't bad.* It comes in a nice carrying case that holds the camera, the waterproof case, and all the mounting hardware (of which there is a ton).* The waterproof case seems well-made.UPDATE: Company got back to me and refunded it despite being outside the 30 day window. Clearly they care about their customers! Changing review from 2 stars to 4.
