My 6 year old daughter has loved this book
My 6 year old daughter has loved this book. She is not a confident reader, but she has ploughed on regardless. Some challenging words on each page, think Greek God names. Will be buying another DK reader.

An excellent introduction for young readers
This is an excellent introduction for young readers who are interested in the exploits of Wonder Woman and her supporting cast of helpers and villains. This 64-page book is a series of two-page sections, each looking at a different aspect of Wonder Woman’s life, background and adventures. It is based on the “New 52” series from DC Comics, which was an attempt to begin their characters’ stories with a clean slate, as it were, with their ‘origins’, or start of their superhero careers taking place five years ago, and all their previous history fitting into that period. That didn’t work out well, and so DC have abandoned that idea and have begun a new series, known as “Rebirth”, though much of Wonder Woman’s story from the New 52 is carried forward.Putting all that aside, however, this is an entertaining book, with plenty of artwork taken from the long history of Wonder Woman comics, with easy-to-read (and comprehend) text accompanying it.Ever since she began her comic-book career in 1941, Wonder Woman has done her best to be a role model for young women everywhere, and this book is an excellent introduction to that career. At the end of the book, there is a Quiz, a Glossary, Guide for Parents and an Index.
